He walked down the empty road alone. Three minutes until midnight in the middle of the Viridian desert in the continent of Arbor. The man had pale skin with flowing green hair reaching his waist.
It was hard to see most of it or his face because he wore a hood to cover his head. The pine green hood covered him, along with a long cape on his body. But his tuxedo outfit with a puffy white shirt underneath presented him as a very formal man.
The paved road he walked on was in the middle of the desert. The stars shone within the navy blue sky alongside the full moon. Alongside the road was a worn-down wooden fence. Given the hood, he wanted to keep a low profile so no one could know who he was. However, not too far from him, another person was walking behind him. Unlike him, this person was a woman, but she wore a similar cloak but painted black.
This cloak was more like a coat with bright green hood edges. Underneath it was a tight, navy blue jumpsuit and bare grey feet covered in dirt. As she walked closer to him, the man heard her pale footsteps squishing the pavement. Stopping, he stayed still until he carefully turned around to face her. He saw she was young, in her early to mid-30s. Like her feet, her skin was moon pale covered by puffy black hair tied in a ponytail. Despite her hood on, he saw through her.
"Mercury if I'm correct?" She politely spoke out. He shook for a moment, realizing she knew who he was. If she knew his name, he knew she knew what he was and what he could do. She stood quietly before speaking "Pardon me for approaching you so unexpectedly, but I believe you have a certain power that is very uncommon for this world. If you wish to put it to better use, then how about giving it to me?" She had her eyes closed, but the second she opened them, she revealed her bright green eyes, as sharp as a raptor.
