"Little brother?" The phrase uttered by popular Terrarium athlete Chet Blast, was addressed to the undercover Dinosaur Rebellion member Blaster. He stood many feet away from him with his head low and hood high, accompanied by the shocked Emily, Caren, and Morgan. Even though Blaster didn't feel good about interacting with his older brother, Chet seemed to be as he signed an autograph for a fan, moved ahead of the crowd of girls, and said "Who dang. I never expected to see you here out of all places. Where have you been?"
"Little brother?" Morgan was the first to break the ice.
"As in..big brother?!" Caren felt more stunned than the others. They were finally in the presence of one of Blaster's many siblings, particularly, his older brother; the eldest of the seven pteranodon hatchlings. Blaster couldn't afford to hide anymore. He calmly straightened his shoulders and head, removed his hood, and greeted his brother with a happy smile.
"Chet my big bro! What a surprise to see you here. How long has it been? What? A year or so? Makes sense considering it felt like over a year since graduating from Terrarium's high school level. But I gotta say, it's nice to see the year went so well for you. You built your popularity status higher than in the old days."
Blaster's expression was both sarcastic and honest. Even though he didn't like soaking up his brother's popularity, he enjoyed seeing him again after so long. However, being the goofball-embarrassing younger he is, he showed no hesitance in addressing Chet's fandom of girls.
"You know, ladies, you are so lucky to be in this guy's presence" he spoke as he politely passed Chet and faced the female crowd. "As you are with me! I know everything about him. We go way back. Wanna know a fun fact?" As to not being in Chet's direct earshot, he bowed to the girls, moved his hand in front of his mouth, and whispered "When we were kids, he was so inspired to be a superstar, he watched Nora Dakota."
The joke and awkward childhood fact made the girls giggle. Despite the whisper, though, Chet heard it clear as day. Part of him was embarrassed and angered enough to want to give Blaster a smack at his head. But given the public space and audience, he knew better than to lose his cool. All he expressed was a red face and a twitch in his right eye. A couple of coughs, though, helped him regain full composure.
"Alright, ladies, that's enough for today. I gotta attend some family business now, but feel free to check out my merch table, just right around the corner from here." Chet escorted the crowd away and directed them elsewhere. He waved as he heard a bunch of ladies shout "Call me!" The second the crowd was gone, Chet's calm and friendly persona dropped as he turned to Blaster and angrily asked "What are you doing here?! I heard about your little stunt back in Hell Creek. You're a criminal now?!"
"Oh, so you heard about my brave flight of fancy? How my heroic comrades and I single-handedly brought down Hero's dangerous warship and prevented a full-on invasion in Hell Creek?" Blaster spoke proudly with no regret in his involvement in the airship crash.
