I went straight up to Cody's office.
Me : Why did you send a threatening message to Kausar? Did you kill him?
Cody : Why should I answer you? Who are you anyway?
Me : Am just trying to help my friend. Why should you hide it if you didn't kill him?
Cody : Isn't it your friend's job to find the killer? Why does my message concern you?
Me : I know his struggles. You better confess.
Cody : I won't confess. What you gonna do about it? You have no authority.
He's hiding something. I can't just leave. I punched him and threatened him. He also hit me hard. We had a big fight in the office.
I have no other choice. I had to fight him to make him confess. I was losing. He was just too strong.
I carried the wooden chair next to me and broke it on his head. It made him bleed a lot. One of the workers there called the police.
A few minutes later, the police arrived. We were still fighting. Apparently, he was still able to fight me despite the injury.
Uzair was one of the police dispatched there. He arrested me for physical abuse. While I was getting handcuffed, Cody finally spoke up about the threat message.
Cody : I'm innocent. Ask Uzair.
Uzair? What did he do? I can't believe he would do such a thing. Never. But talking to him might give me a clue.
Author's note : Do you think what I did to Cody was justified? What would you do to get the truth out of someone?
