Pokemon Black: Hurtful Purpose

Orphella's Water Blitz!

Kira and Orphella wasted no time sending out their pokemon for battle. Orphella sent out her panpour for the battle. 

"I may only have one pokemon, but do not underestimate my power here in this battle." Orphella had said.

"Don't underestimate me either. I may have a disadvantage but I'll still prove my strength." Kira had said full of confidence before throwing out her tepig.

"Tepig, Ember!" 

"Water gun."

Panpour almost immediately dodged ember with ease and landed a direct hit on tepig knocking it back a little. Struggling for a few minutes, tepig got back on its feet again.

Cyan had watched Kira and Orphella battle it out for a while as he quietly took notes while watching. 

"Do you always do that?" Xiu asked Cyan making him snap out of it. "I'm talking about your little analyzing session."

"Oh, Yeah. I did it all the time back when I was back home whenever there was a pokemon battle on Tv. If only they had approved...." Cyan said before thinking to himself.

"If only who had approved..?" Xiu has asked again now curious as he tapped Cyan's shoulder to snap him back out of it.

"Oh! Again, don't worry about it. It's nothing important." Cyan has looked at Xiu with a reassuring face.

As they both looked back to the battle between Kira and Orphella, they noticed that Kira was now starting to get a upper hand. 

"Now tepig! Flame wheel!" Kira had commanded as the tepig spun itself into a wheel of flames and hit panpour again making it fall on its back in pain. This made Orphella now go into a thinking position.

"Oh dear....I'm in a bad spot right now aren't I..." Orphella had said still thinking. "Now I know that I can use my ace move." Orphella had said with more confidence then she originally had. "Panpour, Ice beam!"

Panpour nods before shooting a beam of ice at tepig, causing it to freeze. 

The entire audience including Cyan, Xiu and the other gym leaders stared back in shock as they watched panpour use an ice type move.

"What the..?!" Corrin had exclaimed. "She used Ice beam!"

"We haven't seen big sis use that move since the brown haired one.."

This catches both Xiu's and Cyan's attention again. They both turn to look at each other. 

"Brown haired one?" Cyan had asked Xiu.

"You caught wind of that too? I wonder who they're talking about..." Xiu had questioned as he now began to think to himself.

Kira had thought for a few seconds before commanding the pokemon again. "Tepig, heat yourself up and use Ember again!". As Kira made the command the ice surrounding her partner froze. Tepig manages to free itself from the ice with almost no ease and firing yet another wave of flames at the water pokemon again.

This time the attack actually manages to connect with the panpour causing the pokemon to fall over in pain. 

The atmosphere got quiet as they all waited for the pokemon to get back up for a few seconds until they came to the conclusion that it was unable to battle.

Orphella looked back at the battle in shock. She hasn't ever been bested in a battle like this before, let alone the battle being so quick to end. This made her think to herself about the three of them that bested her and her siblings.

"Oh wow..." Cyan had spoken out of shock. "Kira won that battle with almost no effort! And she was at a type disadvantage...!" 

Xiu had exchanged glances with Kira as he nodded in approval Kira on the other hand ran over and bear hugged the other two. "You guys, you guys, you guys!" She had busted from happiness.

"Since when was she this damn strong...." Cyan spoke very clearly struggling to breathe.

"What the hell do your parents feed you..." Xiu had struggled to get out her grasp.

Orphella walked up to the trio, very clearly impressed. "I can only give you my admiration for besting our gym challenge. I believe that you rightfully earned the badge that proves you've beaten our gym." She added on gently placing her badge in Kira's hands. "The next gym you'll have to face is the normal type gym all the way in Nacrene City."

"Nice! We're already off to a great start!" Cyan had noted adjusting his cap.

"Before you leave though....I do have a favor to ask of you three." Orphella had asked.

"A favor? What is it?" Xiu had immediately questioned her.

"I saw the way all three of you battled in today's matches...It made me think about this one person who stormed their way through our gym with no effort. I saw the same amount of potential I saw in that person in all of you. If there's no trouble at all, could I maybe tag along with you lot? I want to see how far you all can go with your potential." 

This shocked even Orphella's siblings as they heard her proposal.

"Wait! But sister! Who's going to run the gym restaurant now..?" Corrin had asked confused out of his mind.

To this in which Orphella only looked back and chuckled. "I think it's time two new trustworthy people took care of this place don't you think?" Both Corrin and Cherry widened their eyes in realization and excitement.

"Wait! Y-You mean.." Cherry nervously asked again stuttering on her words.

Oprhella nodded. "That's right. You two will run the place from now on." 

Both Corrin and Cherry stared at each other before jumping up and down excitedly as they finally get to run the gym. Orphella then looked at Cyan and the others before asking her question again.

"Again, is it alright if I tag along?" 

The Trio had thought about the offer becoming towards a conclusion. Cyan had stepped up to look to Orphella in the face.

"Yeah. Course you can." He said reaching his hand out for a handshake. Orphella gladly accepted the handshake before walking out of the gym while saying their goodbyes to the audience and Corrin and Cherry.

Daytime then began to grow darker as the city lights began to turn back on.

"It's getting quite late isn't it..." Orphella had noted.

"It's best if we stay at an hotel until sunrise again so we'll be refreshed again and energized enough to challenge the gym leader at the next city." Xiu suggested.

"That's the smartest decision you've made all day...." Kira had whispered.

"What was that dumbass?!" Xiu had snapped back in anger before pinching her ear escalating into a small fight.

Cyan could only sigh in embarrassment and tiredness before turning towards Orphella.

"This...happens often.."

"Don't worry....I'm used to this." Orphella had smiled at him.
