Flashback

The scene opens to the Goetia mansion as the camera pans to Stolas's bedroom. The door opens and Silvia walks through it with a tired Child Stolas in her arms.

Silvia: "Did you have a good day today, sweetheart?"

Young Stolas: "*rubs his eye tiredly* Mhm, I wish I could see her again."

Silvia: "I know, maybe next time we'll sneak out again just so you could see her."

She nuzzles her beak in Child Stolas' head as he giggles a bit before he yawns. Silvia gently places him down on his bed and takes his little crown and cape off.

Young Stolas: "Mmm, good night mother."

Silvia: "Good night, *kisses his forehead* my sweet little owlet."

She then stood up before she walked towards the door. Silvia looked at her son's sleeping face one more time before she leaves and closes the door. The camera pans over on Child Stolas and his sleeping face.

Flashback Over

The scene cuts to Stolas, now as an adult, waking up as his phone is ringing. He rubs his eyes before he answers the phone.

Stolas: "Hello-?"

Silvia: "*through the phone* WHEN WERE YOU GONNA TELL ME?!"

Stolas: "Wait, mother? What are you-?"

Silvia: "*through the phone* I couldn't believe it at first but now I do! *squeals excitedly* Your finally with someone better then that bratty swan bitch! I knew that I was right!"

Stolas: "Wait what? Where did you hear this from?"

Silvia: "*through the phone* Oh, through an old friend. Anyway, how was your date? Were they sweet, sexy, adorable, I won't judge you if your dating a succubus who loves you for-"

Stolas: "Actually, mother... it's with someone you and I knew from a long time ago."

Silvia: "*through the phone* Wait... a long time... *gasps dramatically* Is it Casandra?! Oh fuck! How long has it been?! 25 or 26 years?"

Stolas: "Well, 25 for me a a few months ago-"

Silvia: "*through the phone* Wait, a few months?! You guys have been getting back together after 25 years?! Oh, sweetheart, this is something we should celebrate about!"

Stolas: "Um, mother? There's also something you should know... about happened from the other night too."

The scene fades to Stolas sitting on his chair in his bedroom as he is still on the phone.

Stolas: "-And that's about everything you should know."

Silvia: "*through the phone* So let me get this straight. When you were on this date with girl, who's now named Cassi, she was attacked by her ex friend and ex girlfriend. While all of that was happening, you were too scared to speak up and now you think you fucked up that date?"

Stolas: "*winces with every word* Yes... *sighs* Was I being a fool to her? I just don't want these mutual feelings between us go astray."

Silvia: "*through the phone* No you weren't. It was probably obvious that she went through a lot back then. Just give her some time to adjust and you'll find the right moment to confess."

Stolas: "Are you sure? I feel like I should have apologized to her right now."

Silvia: "*through the phone* And you will, but right now, just give her some space. I gotta go by the way, I have to head yoga class in a bit. Just call me if there's anything else going on, ok?"

Stolas: "Yes mother, I will. Have a nice day."

Silvia: "*through the phone* You too! Love you!"

The phone call ends as Stolas feels a bit relieved about telling his mother everything. He then opens the photos app and scrolls to a certain picture. The picture shows Stolas being awake on his bed and next to him is Cassi being asleep. Cassi made a squinting expression as her nose is being poked by Stolas. He smiles at the picture softly before he looks out the window sadly.

Stolas: "Will this even work out?... I hope I'm not making a mistake."

The camera moves back slowly as Stolas brings his knees up to his chest and continues to look out the window before the scene fades to black.
