Chapter - 35

It's been a week since Jungkook again joined back to the work. After the talk with Eunwoo he had a small conversation with Namjoon hyung too on that day. He also mentioned that there's no life called ex-mafia member. They sticked to this for a whole life time until we get more powerful than them. Eventhough we get more powerful we just can't easily throw away this part of ours.

Among the other things Namjoon hyung said the most relatable one for Jungkook is money. He needs money for Taehyung. They don't have any idea what future awaits for them. So it's better to be prepared. Another advantage that came across this is Jungkook can keep his mind busy. During the entire time he spent at home the words doctor said haunts him. Everytime he sees Taehyung those words resonated within him. Those times made him feel so miserable for failing Taehyung.

It's like he felt scared to move foreward and face future. On that day doctor told him that Taehyung has a heart problem. He didn't describe further telling that he wants to wait for the results of tests. But he pressured at the words

"Heart is an important organ. Even a small issue in there can affect for one's life!" Jungkook sighed and rubbed his forehead again feeling uneasy. No matter how many advantages brought Jungkook always...like for every passing second worried about Taehyung.

He takes calls in every hour to either Tae or Jin. He is actually grateful towards Jin at this moment. He is taking care about his world more than himself. Jungkook again sent a message to his lover and rubbed his eyes. Everything is so tiring and making him restless. Suddenely Jungkook's phone rang loudly flinching the poor boy. He looked at the caller id and accepted it.

"Eun!!"

"Did you finish those files?"

"Yeah..I'll come there now"

"Okay!" With that Jungkook keep the phone on the table and looked at the cafe through the window.

Unknowingly a wide smile crept into his face reminding the past. Taehyung really fits into that cafe. With him that place looked so lovely and bubbly. He even had the audacity to steal Jungkook's heart too by just staying there. He misses his baby so much.

Jungkook took the pile of files and muttered

"I'm going back!" to Yoongi hyung in the repair shop. He slightly noded not even looking at him and Jungkook also didn't bother much. He knows the nature of his hyung. These days the lost mafia brothers mission in which Jungkook joined with Eunwoo turned into a brainstorming mission. Because of the lack of people to find about what happened..at least the faces of them they had to investigate about the whole thing including the other business did by Kim Donghwa.

So the whole mission turned into a something like a college project which made Jungkook loose his sanity too. Actually what the hell happened to that family and their friends? Seems like they didn't even exist on this world if those talks about them also stopped. So these days they are going backwards to the past in order to find a small clue.

The work became boring but today Jungkook is excited. He is leaving his work early because today they are going to fulfil Taehyung's second innocent wish. Today morning Taehyung is smiling and giggling like there's no tomorrow making Jungkook a bit late too.

Jungkook returned the files safely back to Eunwoo and began to drive towards the dorm. As soon as he came he saw Namjoon hyung waiting at the door step to take the car.

"I'll send the car back! You guys are going to orphanage at evening right!?" Namjoon asked while catching the key Jungkook threw.

"Yeah! No need to hurry hyung!" Jungkook said with a warm smile. Namjoon noded and started the car engine to leave while Jungkook slowly walked towards the dorm. As soon as he removed his shoes someone clinged onto his back like koala.
