Chapter - 43

Jungkook came out from the doctor's room and sighed heavily. He pulled his hair back and spaced out a bit. Doctor fixed the date for Tae's surgery as tomorrow and he can't help but felt distressed eventhough he saw this coming. More sooner more better but seems like he can't focus. He landed on LA yesterday night and the first thing he did is seeing Tae.

Not gonna lie Taehyung seemed more pale and thinner than he saw before but didn't pinpoint those. Jin already told him about the heavy strong medications going on here. The thing which broke Jungkook's heart most is Tae's sobs. He never saw the latter crying this hard and painfully before.He clearly did the wrong thing here. He should have come with Tae. He shouldn't let Tae suffer like this. He never gonna repeat this same mistake again ever.

"Oh! Jungkook!? What did the doctor say?" Jin asked while removing the phone from his ear.

"Surgery date!"

"When?"

" Tomorrow!" Jin gasped a bit but managed to maintain his composure.

"It's okay Jungkook! That's what we came here for! Cheer up! Taehyung's gonna heal completely!" Jungkook noded at Jin's words but the stress didn't erase from his face.

"Hey!! Now go and talk with Tae. He might be awake by now!" Jin again said seeing the stiff figure of younger. He can understand what's going on Jungkook's mind and he clearly knows that the only answer is facing the situation.

"First I have to tell hyungs ab--"

"I'll inform them! Just focus on Tae!" Jin mumbled with his warm voice making Jungkook to accept his offer immediately. Having Jin hyung by their side is a great releif they never acknowledged they wanted to.

He is always a silent but huge pillar who supports them. Eventhough there's a lot Jungkook wants to let out infront of Jin he postponed everything and went towards Tae's room. These every hardships is for their happy ever after at the end.

Jungkook wants to keep his eyes only on that beautiful end ignoring the difficult road they are walking now.

Jungkook opened the door slowly only to laugh out loud seeing his boyfriend who is spaced out in the middle of the bed. Messy bed hair and the blanket wrapped around him intensifies the cuteness of the sight even more. Tae flinched and looked at the sound source only to frown. The audacity this Jungkook has to laugh after deceiving him like this.

"Aww my baby bear!" Jungkook cooed and walked towards his heart who is still trying to ignore the other's presence. Understanding the foreign behaviour Jungkook asked

"Why my baby is grumpy early in the morning?"

"You was not here!" Tae answered simply but it's not that hard to pick up the pain and longingness in the voice. Jungkook pulled Tae towards him and hugged so tightly while Taehyung too clinged onto other's body immediately.

"That will never happen again!"

"Of course! Or I'll kill you!" Tae also mumbled and hit on Jungkook's chest playfully. Jungkook chuckled making Taehyung to enjoy the melodious sound after a long time up so close.

"I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too...so damn much!" Jungkook also said back and placed a little kiss on Tae's nose.

"Where u went this early?" Tae asked and looked at Jungkook's face.

"To meet doctor!"

"Oh! What happened?"
