3rd Person POV
"Link," King Dorphan boomed out. "I am so sorry for the way Muzu behaved today. You may take the treasure inside of this chest now. It was my daughter's weapon, and I hope it is of use to you on your adventures." Link smiled and stood up with Sidon's help. He limped over to the chest, opening it. Inside was a beautiful pale trident with pink tips and seashells engraved into the sides of it. Link's eyes practically lit up when he saw it.
"..it's beautiful," he said, holding it in his hands.
"That is the Lightscale Trident," King Dorphan said. "It is the weapon my daughter, Mipha, used in battle. She was widely known for her healing abilities, but her Spearmanship was a class all in its own." Link smiled up at King Dorphan and stood up with the Trident.
"I will gladly accept this Trident," he said. "Thank you. I, uh.. I sh- I should probably go now." He rubbed the back of his head. "I still have a lot of work to do.. with the other Divine Beasts and all that.." King Dorphan nodded at him.
"Of course," he said. "I understand that you have a lot to do still. Please, feel free to return when you can. We are indebted to you, Link." Link smiled.
"I can escort you out if you'd like, Link," Sidon said.
"Oh.." Link hesitated. "I actually wanted to stay here for a little bit longer. Just a few minutes." Sidon nodded firmly and they left the Throne Room. Sidon helped Link pack his things and prepare for his journey to find the other Divine Beasts.
"Be safe, Link," Sidon instructed him. "Make sure you don't strain your leg too much; Bazz said it might open the wound again if you do. If that happens and you can't fix it, you can come here, or go down to Lurelin Village. It's far South from here, but they have amazing medics. They can probably heal it all the way so it won't open up again." Link nodded, almost impatiently.
"Thank you, Prince Sidon," Link smiled. "I will be careful." He turned to grab his Sheikah Slate from his hip, but Sidon gripped Link's shoulders before he could.
"Wait," he insisted. "I have something that could be useful to you." He pulled out a glass jar with a vibrant red liquid inside it and gave it to Link. "It's a Healing Elixir. In case you get hurt and need to heal quickly." Link smiled and held it in his small hands. He smiled.
"Thank you, again," he said. "I'm sure this will be much help." He reached for the Sheikah Slate again, pushing a few buttons and smiling at Sidon again. "I will come back and see you sometime. I promise." He pressed one more button, and his body disappeared in a flurry of streams of blue light. The light flew upwards into the air before fading away.
"Good luck, seashell."
Time Skip
It had been nearly a year since Link left the Domain to fight the other Divine Beasts. His hair had grown out, and it reached past his shoulders about halfway down his back, and he no longer had it up in a ponytail. He had returned once or twice to check in, but he barely saw anyone anymore. He had finally got the Master Sword, he had gotten all of his memories back, and he was ready to fight the Calamity.
He stormed through the Castle, the cold air nipping at the little bit of skin he had exposed. The clack of his boots echoed down the empty hallways and along the stone ground outside. He approached the arched hallway at the very top of the Castle. He inhaled sharply and stepped inside. The ground rumbled below him, and a ball of malice stuck to the ceiling began to glow yellow. He heard a voice in his head; but not his own voice.
"Link..." it was a soft, almost familiar voice. "I'm sorry.. but my power is not strong enough.. I can't hold him..." a blue Lazer shot out from the ball of malice, blindly shooting around the room. Link covered his face with his arms so he wouldn't get hit with flying debris. The ball of malice suddenly burst, and a creature with indescribable features fell from it onto the already weak floor.
It broke through the stone, taking Link with it as they fell to the next floor down. Link opened his paraglider and gently glided down to the floor, where he got a better look at the creature. It looked like every Blight Ganon he'd already fought combined into one, with tons of extra limbs and a Lazer cannon. Link pulled out the Master Sword and swung it around over his head, holding it outwards. It glowed with a blue light.
He suddenly felt the Champion's spirits get stronger for a few moments. He looked up and saw a blue light shining down onto the Calamity. It shot it, making it roar loudly and flail around in pain. The cannon of light suddenly disappeared with a poof of blue smoke. The Calamity was weak now, and it stumbled a bit before standing again and roaring at Link, louder then before. Link exhaled sharply. I've got this, he said to himself in his head.
The fight lasted about twenty minutes. Link wasn't injured too badly, but he was stumbling when he walked. He'd finally landed the last blow on Calamity Ganon. It reared back, roaring loudly again, before collapsing forward onto the ground in front of it. It groaned out in pain, attempting to stand again. The malice on it's body suddenly began to explode, spilling out of Ganons body. It dissappeared in a small explosion of purple light and smoke, and Link felt a warm feeling engulf his body. I did it, he thought.
He reappeared outside the castle, with a large ball of smoke and malice in front of him.
