Susan couldn't believe it. Here she was going under the knife—again. She was really scared, things were happening way too fast.
'I mean I already look every bit the woman,' she fretted as she lay on the table, 'What more could Edmond think I need?'
"Look!" Susan beamed, running her palm up and down her tummy and below. "I'm as flat as the Texas panhandle."
"No, you're not," Edmond said, miffed. "See that little hump? That's your mons veneris."
"It's darling."
"And that roughage." Edmond pointed at where Susan's panties bunched up at her crotch. "That grove–that's your labia-major and neo-vaginal opening."
"You don't think it's a bit much," Susan asked, poking it out a might. "Do you?"
"No way."
Susan turned this way and that in front of the mirror, admiring Edmond's craftmanship from the front and rear. "It's amazing," And to think all Jonathan's boy junk is just tucked away neatly inside of me somewhere."
"Yes. It's unbelievable."
"Edmond, you're a genius." And to prove it, she gave him a brotherly hug and peck on his stubbly cheek.
"Ah, shucks," Edmond grinned.
It was exactly about twenty-eight days later that Susan moaned, "What's happening to me?" The girl hadn't eaten in days. When Susan tried, she couldn't keep it down. She lacked the energy to rise from her bed.
A valiant Edmond placed a damp facecloth on her beaded brow. Susan for her part looked very pale and very frail, lying there on her bed.
"It just you adjusting to your new parts is all."
"I'm so scared. I've never bled like that before. It was just gushing out of me."
"It just seems that way. It's perfectly natural, Honey."
"Natural?"
"Yes. Menstruation."
"You mean I'm having a fucking period."
"That's right."
"And all that weeping and whining?"
"PMS."
"I swear," Susan smiled weakly. "I'll never rag on another chick on the rag again." Then she got serious. "This is a little too perfect for me. Can't we cut back a bit on the realism. Just a tad?"
"Just a little longer, Angel Eyes. We're almost there. Another month and it'll all seem like a bad dream."
"No! Not a bad dream at all. Some of it was really nice. Especially, the time I've spent with you. You've been so sweet. It's just that I've never been a woman before. That's all. I can't wait till this whole pretend thing is over! I'm getting a little tired of playing the weaker sex."
"Shh," Edmond said gently. "You just lie back and relax. Get some sleep, now."
"Night..."
"Night."
