Chapter 12 - love and chaos

~Ashtons Pov ~

"She doesn't love you" That sentence kept repeating in my head all night,

"she loves me right" I whispered to myself looking down at Katie sleeping on my chest.

She promised to marry me when we were both ready, but people change, I wonder if she did...

~ Katie's pov~

I woke up to a loud knocking on the door, Ashton, however, sleeps like a rock so he didnt hear it.

"Who is it" I said walking toward the door

"Zach" I heard from the other side of the door

"Hey, what time is it," I said letting him in

"It's like 8 but I thought I'd come by early cause I have to talk to Ashton," Zach said laying down on the bed that used to be Caitlin

"well if you wanna be the one to wake him up, be my guest," I said walking to the closet

"Ill wake him up in a little bit" He replied,

"Ok well im gonna shower," I said walking into the bathroom.

~ Ashton pov~

I felt Katie get up but I was too exhausted to question it, after a few minutes I finally woke up completely to find Zach on Caitlin's old bed and Katie in the shower.

"good morning sleeping beauty, now I got some stuff to tell you, " Zach said as soon as he saw I was awake

"what" I said digging my head back into the pillow

"You and Bryana, don't think I didn't see you go to her house yesterday. I know Katie knows you went over there but Bryana cannot I repeat CANNOT get in the way of you and Katie. She hasn't felt the way she does now since she and Daniel started out, now I'm not saying you just like him because I know you not but don't hurt her."

" I won't I love her with everything I have," I said, and then Katie walked out of the bathroom.

~Katie's pov~

"ok wait you're telling me Daniels's Girlfriend is pregnant so by New years we will have a little Seavey running around, Lav has now learned how to say my name, and no one knows how because I've only met her 3 times, and out of all of you Jonah misses me the most," I say as we sit in the food court of the mall

"yeah Jonah says he needs someone 'more mature than all of us' " Zach replies

"well he's not wrong," I said which made us both laugh.

After we were done eating we walked back to the car with all the stuff we bought and we went to the park down the street.

"Did you know, that this is where Daniel asked you to be his girlfriend?" Zach said as we were approaching a fountain in the middle of the park,

"Yes I remember exactly how it happened to"I started I we sat down on the ledge

"spring break of freshmen year and we were all down here and Daniel made me get out of the hotel even though I had a headache and he walked me out here and stood me in front of the fountain. He picked me up bridal style and tried to throw me in. Still, he never did, this guy came up and started playing 'I See the Light' from tangled to this day I still don't know why. Daniel put me back on my feet, spun me around kissed me, and said 'Katie I know you might think we're just friends but I wanna be more than that, so will you please be my girlfriend' and I kissed him as my answer." I explained
