~ Ashton's POV ~
It's time to say goodbye to everyone. I started with Harry, then Niall, Louis, Liam, Zayn, and Caitlin. I ended with katie
"I don't wanna do this," I said looking down at her
"That night at the party, we promised we might have to act like breaking it never happened.."
She said hugging me and trying not to cry
"I know baby I know, I'm so sorry, but I'm not pretending it didn't happen. I love you too much for that" I said holding her tighter
"goodb-" I started but she stopped me
"Don't say that, this is not goodbye" She finished
"I love you" I said
"I love you too" she said then kissed me. When she pulled away she walked over to Harry and Caitlin hugged him without turning around. Niall walked up to me
"She'll be okay man," He said patting my shoulder
"Take care of her for me ok?" I said turning to him
"I will, I won't let her out of my sight" he responded.
"Ash," Luke said from the car, I turned and walked to it.
When I got in the car and drove off I knew... I wouldn't see her for a long time.
( end of flashback)
~ Katie's pov~
"Honey," he said.
I stayed silent because it all came back to me hearing his voice that day. It's been in my dreams countless times but this was different and I finally spoke up,
"You know I hate it when you call me that," I said without turning around.
"Katie come here, " he said
"I don't want to turn around, I'll cry again and I am sick of fucking crying all the time," I said as everyone left the hallway
"It's just me and you baby," He said, I could hear him walk closer
"Katie, turn around," he says again
"Ashton I'm scared I'll turn around and I'll fall to the floor crying," I say with tears slowly falling out.
"I'll catch you, baby,
" If I turn around, I'll fall in love even more and then you will have to leave for tour again," I say
"Come on tour with us," he said which made me spin around, wow he was close to me
"What do you mean by that?" I asked tears streaming down my face,
"It means come back to me baby, I know you only have 2 days left here, come with me please,"
He said practically begging
