In a world where conformity reigns,
It's easy to get lost in the sea of sameness,
Following the crowd, eager to please,
But at what cost does this need for approval come?
We spend our days chasing after likes,
Measuring our worth by the number of follows,
But deep down, we know it's all a facade,
A lie we tell ourselves to feel accepted.
But stop for a moment and consider,
What are you truly gaining by being a follower?
Is it worth sacrificing your authenticity,
Just to fit in with the crowd?
You were born to stand out, not blend in,
To shine bright with your unique light,
But you can't do that if you're always in the shadows,
Always playing second fiddle to someone else's tune.
So stop being a people pleaser,
Stop seeking validation from others,
And start living for yourself,
Embracing your true self with pride.
It's not easy to break free from the chains of conformity,
To stand tall in a world that values uniformity,
But the rewards of being true to yourself are worth it,
The freedom to be who you are meant to be.
So let go of the need to please,
Let go of the fear of standing out,
And embrace the beauty of your individuality,
For that is where your true power lies.
