Meeting Kaiden(the other side of me I never knew)

Chapter 19

After that talk with my mom I decided to call kaiden and ask him to come over so that we could talk. While waiting for him to get here I took a shower and during my shower I had lots going through my mind. What was I going to say to him? I know he was just trying to protect me, and I appreciate that but, I have had to protect myself for so long now I don't know how not to. As I put my thoughts on hold I got out the shower when I heard foot steps coming up the stairs. 

"Sam?" My mother called.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Kaiden's here." she said

"Okay." I said.

I wrapped the towel around my body and walked to my closet to find some pajama bottoms and a tank top. Once I was done getting dressed I walked down stairs and saw him sitting on the couch. My heart broke at the look of him. He looked so defeated and tired. 

"Hey." I said to him while bending down to give him a hug.

"Hey baby." He replied.

"Look kaiden i'm so sorry for how i acted. Their's just so much about me you don't know and It's hard  to explain." I started. 

"I have always had to protect myself and the last time I let someone try and protect me I ended up hurt. So i'm sorry I hurt you and put you through all this. You just have to know that i'm trying here and that I would never cheat on you." I tell him.

After all that he was quite and just started in my eyes searching for something. I was about to say something when he grabs my face and planted a gentle kiss on my lips.

"Baby I know you have been through a lot and I know that I haven't been that understanding of everything. I'm sorry for that but, I  have waited so long to find you and now that I have you I would never let anyone take you from me or hurt you.

***Hey guys sorry its been forever I have just been going through a lot and had to get myself together. Its a short chapter but I promise chapter 20 will be up sometime later this week or weekend.
