Meeting Kaiden(the other side of me I never knew)

Chapter 18

  **Kaiden**

The word fury had no justice for the way my wolf wanted to rip whoevers head off the second I opened the door. Luke stood there with a look that would kill but not me...only he had the nerve to stop what was going on between Sam and me. "What do you want!?" I growled, trying to hold my composure. 

His beady orbs roamed over my shoulder trying to see my barely covered mate laying hot and ready for me our mating. 

"I said what do you want Lukas!?""I came to let you know we have a bit of a problem. The you had this morning disincluded me and I think that fucked up being your beta." A smirk formed on my face. "You didn't receive the invitation, you should have known...we have them every mid-week, Luke."I could tell I was getting to him. He had something for Sam but was too weak to admit it."I need to talk to Samantha, we can deal with the meeting later." He stated before peeking over my shoulder again. Finally becoming fed up with his sneaky innovation, I pushed him against the wall but Sam screamed."If you fuckin her...or even so much as look at her, I will kill you!" I promised.

"Sons!" Our dad---Luke's dad stood there with the wrath of an Alpha all over him. "You are scaring the girl!"

I turned to see Sam shaking with her arms covering her chest. I knew she was strong but something made her cry as she was wiping them away from her blushing cheeks.

"Baby---wait." I reached to pull her in my arms and she pushed me away.

"You are doing it again! You just don't stop do you? Luke doesn't want me!" She screamed. My wolf wanted to reprimand but being without hers, she would lean more to her human instinct which is to lash out with the spice she held."I want you to stop this Kaiden! Luke wants to talk and so I'm talking to him!" She pushed me away once more and grabbed Luke's hand.Seeing her hand touch his caused me to snap. I guess she would hate me now because I wasn't stopping until Luke got the message.

**Sam**

My back hit the wall so hard, I felt like every ounce of air in my lungs. My head hurt like hell, the pain of it kept radiating through my neck and back but mainly my head. The spot where he marked me stung like hell so I grabbed it. His father panicked and went to lift me up off the floor but it didn't last long before I heard a crack. Kaiden's fist against Luke's nose. It started to bleed and Luke lunged at him nearly knocking his father to the floor with me."Stop fighting or you both will be locked up!" Kaiden stopped and Luke got a swing in repaying him for the broken nose. "She's mine!" Kaiden growled."Stop it!!" I screamed helping myself off the floor.They all stood there as if they were lost on some sort of abandon island. I shook my head at Luke and Kaiden both and made my way down the stairs not caring where exactly I was going.The second my foot hit the last step I nearly bumped into the woman I saw earlier. "Sweetheart, wait. Don't run. Let me explain." She smiled sweetly but I was already to riled up. "I can't." I rushed towards the door and out.If he was going to be violent...I didn't need a mate. Life with violence was never my cup of tea.

I ran home and went straight to my mom even though we don't get along  she always here for me. 

"Mom where are you?" I cried out. 

"I'm in the kitchen." She replied

I walked in the kitchen clutching my neck where kaiden marked me. As soon as she seen me she ran towards me and wrapped her arms around me. I couldn't fight it anymore I just let out all my tears. 

"Sam what happened ?" Mom asked.

So I started to tell her about kaiden and luke fighting and then kaiden coming and marking me forcefully. I told her everything! After all I told her she cried with me.

"Sam honey I hate to say this but, kaiden is right Luke does want you i've seen how he looks at you." My mom said. 

"You can't hate kaiden for wanting to keep you away from him. He was helping your bastard of a father baby remember that." She said as she got up and walked out.
