Love, it will get you nowhere
You're on your own
Lost in the wild
So come to me now
I could use someone like you
Someone who'll kill on my command
And asks no questions

EREBUS ARGENT HAD BEEN SURPRISED TO TRANSLATE MOST OF THE BEASTIARY. He found a lot of things. Like, the Kanima is, obviously, supposed to inkh go after murderers, originally. Until, when it seeks a master, and depending on the master, as the bond continues, it will kill whoever the master asks of. With consequences.
"Okay, Jesus," Erebus rubbed at his eyes. So, he had decided to go and see if he could get any information about the Kanima from Derek. And, warn him, about his grandfather.
But, when he had arrived at the Hale property, the man was nowhere to be seen. ₮ⱧɆ ⱧɄ₦₮ɆⱤ'₴ ⱧØ₦ØⱤ
He had hoped to get into contact with the two betas that Derek turned; Isaac Lahey and Erica Reyes. But, Allison informed him that she had been able to have Lydia translate the book. Or, a few sections of it.
Allison leads him to the library, where she tells Scott and Stiles to meet her. They go over to a bookshelf, sliding the tablet to the boys. "It's everything Lydia can translate. And trust me, she was very confused." Allison whispered.
"I didn't think I was taking that long time to see translate, considering it's the entire book," Erebus frowned.
"Yeah, what'd you tell her?" Scott questioned Allison.
"That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," Allison answered. Then, paused, as she turned to Erebus. "Wait, who told you that you had to translate the entire thing?"
"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," Stiles revealed.
"Shocker," Erebus sarcastically replied, then gestured to the two boys. "They asked how long it would take to translate the whole thing. Did you know there's a creature called; Mapinguary? And, the amount of creatures with 'were' in the name is insane. Obviously, werewolf, werebadger, weretiger, werepanther, werejaguar... and don't get me started on the-"
"We won't," Stiles interrupted.
"You told him to translate the whole book?" Allison asked, in disbelief.
"No, I mean-" Scott thinks back, and okay, yeah, when he replayed the question in his head, he gets how Erebus thought he wanted the whole book translated quickly.
"I mean I did it," Erebus said.
"You, you are going to sleep when we get home," Allison had thought that he looked tired, but just had no clue it was because he was translating the book. She had heard him, late at night, how he seemed to be...thinking he was speaking to his mother.
