EREBUS ARGENT CROSSED HIS ARMS OVER HIS CHEST, SLOUCHED IN THE CHAIR. In front of him, was the guidance counselor. Apparently, all because Matt had recently been killed. Of course, Erebus knew it was his grandfather who drowned the boy in a lake.

But, there was no way Erebus was saying anything, not a word to the councilor. He knew who she was.

"Why am I here? I literally only had detention with him," Erebus says.

"From what I heard, you spoke more than just in detention."

Erebus glared at her. He hated her.

"Anyways, this isn't about Matt," she says. And Erebus feels like she fighting off a smile.

"It's not?" Even in the back of his head, his mother's voice lecturing him. Telling him to be quiet, to walk out of the room. To come with lies right now.

"It's about your mother."

Fucking bitch.  "What about her?"

"After she was killed," the woman says. "You were taken under your uncle's care. He enrolled you into Beacon Hills High. And, in your time being here, some of the teachers have noticed...your behavior."

Liar, Erebus was a great actor. Sure, he threatened a few students, but, it has only been after they insulted him or Allison. So, he lets out a sigh. "Those students attend it with me and my cousin. Just because my mother was a pyscho, they think I'm gonna be psychopath. Which, if you truly believed that, why the hell would you say that to the person?"

"That's not what I'm talking about. I'm speaking about your behavior; how you always seem to be looking over your shoulder," she says. "Are you safe at home?"

He burst out laughing. "Is-is that what you think? My uncle-"

"I didn't mean your uncle."

"I'm leaving." Erebus says, and he knows it's a bad idea. Knows how it looks. But, he was starting to feel the urge to hit or shot the woman.

Erebus realized, that he shouldn't have left the guidance counselor's room. It was suspicious.  Erebus had gone to his uncle, in order to speak to him.  He had hesitated to knock on his uncle's door.
