"The After Party"

Brick walls explode with the sound of a Roaring engine,
A shriek.
One of those that drops your insides Below six feet,
A blood curdling silence makes love to burning rubber
This is the after party ,
Air bubbles filled with unsaid words left cans of beer,
Swallowed,
Regurgitated through actions this is the after party,
The DJ has left the scene,
And now music screams through the lips of a lost mother to a risen soul
She is too old to mourn for the young but this is the after party,
Only our generation is invited,
A plus one for all of your families and your loved ones,
Sirens screeching to the heavens, they want their stolen souls back but they can't have them
Because they can't find them,
You can hear the silence singing now,
It leaves this message,
In its song
"Don't you ever get lost
In your cup
You may wake up in a new home"
