"Dull Colors"

I absorbed the normality from the white room that they dared to place me in,
Pure lacks of color bathed my insanity;
I placed my hand on the door and the paint stuck onto my fingertips,
Like a slithering snail it snuck up my hand and spread itself evenly throughout my body,
Deprived of Hue,
The sky was blue but the clouds then covered the entire universe,
White cumulus puffs of suffocating smoke in a white room
Closing in on my dull skeleton
I was a rainbow of interest when I was
Sad
Now I am merely different shades of the same damn color
