Chapter 5: Irrelevant Excuses

The next morning is the day where Kakashi will start babysitting three fresh genins graduated from academy. It will be either passing them, or failing them in test, Kakashi will be the one who decides it.

Yugao yawned and stared blankly at the space in front of her. Somehow she had a great and wholesome dream last night.

"Being a hokage is quite suitable for me". She lets out her goofy chuckled imagining herself being someone useful in her dream before standing up and do some stretching.

After some time wandering around the small town searching something to eat, Her eyes darted at the academy students playing among them at their training field.

Its still early for her to greet Kakashi. She sighed hoping her day will become a lot more better than yesterday. After all, that girl was warned by Kakashi to not butt in his training session with those kids today.

Suddenly she saw Naruto and Sasuke fought over their strength.They're super cute until Iruka sensei have no choice but to interfere their scene.

Yugao silently hold in her laughter while watching them from far. "That won't last long until their first kiss in 2 years later". She mumbled before noticing someone is standing above the academy roof.

Her eyes widened after realizing who that person was. Her thoughts about the scene was just a filler before is finally revealed as it really happened in present time.

"Itachi"... She stared at him watching Naruto and his younger brother's drama. Yugao did noticed his stress mark is now obvious between Itachi's eyes.

'If only I can figure out ways to change your mind Itachi'...He must have joined Akatsuki organization by now. The only person he told his whereabout is Sandaime. Perhaps Obito knows it as well and he just play along with Itachi as long as he's alive in that organization.

Yugao rubbed her forehead's side. 'Should I tell Itachi everything before its too late'?She thought. Knowing her advantages for being someone who came from future, there must be a reason as for why she ended up here.

'It should be fine to change the ending for each plot of the story isn't it'? She finally gasped as their eyes met.

Itachi just gazed her blankly but she knows he just trying to hide his facial expression by seeming emotionless. Yugao immediately regained her composure.

'I should tell him now'- She started to step forward but immediately stopped as Itachi nodded his head at her. "Ita"- Her words stuttered and slowly lost it strength as his body turned into crows and flee away from there.

She froze. "Just a clone"... Yugao knows his action is to remind her to take care of Sasuke and Konoha village while he's gone but still, there must be a way for her to save Itachi from his own death plan.

She tried to breathe properly and calmed down herself. "Relax Yugao... Soon they will meet him again. Let's plan for it. Be rational.You're genius Yugao...Not an idiot". The girl reassured herself and slowly exhaled.

"You sure"? She jumped in surprised before turning her head towards the voice's direction.

"You! How long did you"-Yugao hides her panic hoping he doesn't heard anything about Itachi. "Answer me Kakashi"...

She gritted her teeth causing the masked man raised his brow up but he didn't say anything. "I just arrived".

He said casually while fighting his curiosity about Yugao's unusual expression. "I- I see. Well then".... She walked pass through him heading towards the academy front door.

"Time to meet your three cute genins". Yugao mocked him playfully but Kakashi knows her words is just another way to change the subject.

'Playing along with her drama will benefit me more than this girl herself. My triumph cards always available in my head'. Kakashi thought and started walking closer to her.
