Chapter 8: Embracing darkness

"Shit"!Kakashi winced as Guy pour down alcohol on his wounds before wrapping it with bandages.

While the raven hair girl busied herself battling with the remaining foes, they managed to sneak out and hide behind the bushes thanks to Yugao buying them some time. Kakashi use this as an opportunity to dig some of his unknown information from his rival.

"Why am I not informed about this"? He saw Guy's face turned guilty and immediately understand everything.

"So I'm just a bait then"... The bowl cut hair male nodded.

"Sandaime knows you're the best in handling this mission. Becoming the bait and revealing traitors among Suna's delegation suits you because you're the only one who likes to push your enemies until they reach their limits". Guy explained.

"Everything went smoothly earlier. They gave me the scroll and retreated but then half of them came back to ambush me. But overall, I don't feel the need to force them in first place". Listening to Kakashi's reply makes Guy wondered something.

"Half of them"?He raised his eyebrows.

"The delegations arrived in total of 8 peoples including the leader himself. They scattered right after I received the scroll however, four of them came back for battle". The two of them were silenced before Kakashi continued.

"Then? Why her"? Guy raised his brow again. How did Kakashi knows her?Did he once met Yugao before?

"I don't know. I'm second right after entering the room. She knows the details before me. Sandaime's own choice in choosing her for this mission". Kakashi's a bit shock but he immediately shrugged it off not wanting to mess his brain again.

"Hey Kakashi... I'd recalled only one Uchiha was spared alive right after the massacre of that clan but it's a 'He' and also a kid. I never expected to meet a female Uchiha and what's more shocking, she's also in the same age as us". He said while staring at the silver hair male who currently looking down at the grass as if questioning the same thing.

"I know"...He replied shortly.

"What do you mean you know, Kakashi? How was she still alive after all that and where did they found her?They never interrogated her for details of that tragedy right? I'm positive that Ibiki would never let her wandering around the village easily"! Guy insisted but Kakashi just stay quiet.

"That doesn't matter. Let's hurry up and catch up with her". Kakashi tries to get up on his feet but unfortunately he crouched back down to the ground and grunted in pain.

"No you can't, Kakashi. You're badly injured right now. I'll help her so you stay here and watch us from far". Guy replied and stood up before he falls back down on his butt because of the ground shaking tremendously.

Both of them gazed up at the burning steam clouded the whole forest. That Yugao girl really love to spam her fire jutsu towards innocent nature.

"Fire style: Fire phoenix jutsu(Hosenka no jutsu)"! Five mini fireball splashed out from Yugao's mouth flying on rapid speed towards the remaining suna shinobis but to her surprise, they dodged it just fine.

'I've been spamming my jutsus for quite a while now, I can feel myself growing tired and exhausted'. Her sharingan eyes widened capturing their sudden increase in strength and stamina.

*CLANK*!

Two kunais wrapped with chakra clashed with each other. Yugao immediately realized another one of them dashed towards her in instant but thanks to her bloodline eye technique, she could read the moves and dodged it quickly.
