Caspar
I ran into my room and locked the door. Then I ran to the bed and buried my face in my pillow. How could this have happened? And of course I didn't answer six of his calls. He was probably pissed at me by now. I didnt want to speak to anyone right now especially Joe. I didn't want to explain everything. Everyone hates me at the moment.
I heard footsteps coming towards my room. He was home already. My door handle shook.
"Caspar let me in!" Joe's voice called, seeing that it was locked.
"Joe go away please." I said.
"Caspar, I said let me in." He said again. "We need to talk."
"I said go away Joe! There is nothing to talk about!" I basically screamed. I was confused and didn't know what to do. However, the one person who I would have takes to it about is the person who I am fighting with. It all felt terrible; I hate my fights with Joe.
"Fine. I'll be in my room." He said. I heard his footsteps back to his room then his door slam.
Who would have hacked my account? I thought this over and over, but only one person came to mind. Brett. He was so nice though, and said he wanted to be my friend. Instead of accusing him, I should ask him to help me out. I barely knew him, but I feel like he is the one person who might be on my side.I was about to open my laptop and tweet him to meet up somewhere for lunch, but then I heard a small click of my door being unlocked form the outside and my door opened. I saw Joe, with red puffy eyes and visible tear stains on his cheeks showing that he had been crying also.
"You don't have to say anything Caspar, just let me talk. Why didn't you answer my calls? It was important but I don't think you want to hear what it was right now. My main question is why would you tweet me that? You and I could have talked and worked it out together, but instead both our fans are upset with us. I trust you, maybe you should return the favor. If you hadn't sent that tweet, none of this would have happened."
I scoffed audibly. Joe doesn't trust me at all. He didn't even bother to ask me first if that was even me who sent the tweet. He knows I didn't have my laptop.
"This is all about the fans, isn't it? You don't care about me or that I could not be more upset with this situation either? You think I sent that tweet? I would never have! Someone hacked my account and sent that, not me. I didn't even see your calls. Next time, talk to me before you jump to a million conclusions."
"Where's the proof that that wasn't you, and you are just making things up? I thought you would have your computer by then."
My face heated up and my fists balled up near my sides, grabbing the bottoms of my shirt. The words spilled out of my mouth before I realized I said them. "Because I don't love you Joe! I never have and I never will!"
It was clear from his features that he had about had it with my remarks as I had his, and I couldn't stand it any longer. I closed my door harshly in his face and locked it, hopeful he would walk away.
After seconds that felt like minutes of silence fell upon the two of us, only separated by the door, footsteps that lead to his room occupied the silence. I began to wonder if what I said was too harsh.
No it wasn't.
