Things Aren't So Beautiful Now

The battlefield crackled with tension as Kyriah's pink energy swirled around her, creating an ethereal, almost liquid-like aura. This was the decisive battle, and we all knew it. Kyriah's gaze was locked onto Yelena, her expression fierce and unyielding. With a burst of speed, she charged at her enemy without a trace of fear.

Kyriah hurled her pink blasts at Yelena, who dodged and used her clones to absorb the impact of the erasure energy, dissipating instantly each time they landed, filling the air with its white particles.

Yelena retaliated, summoning a swarm of clones, each one equipped with magnetism, elasticity, and super strength. They attacked in unison, hurling debris and objects from the ground at Kyriah, sacrificing themselves to slow her down and inflict whatever damage they could.

Kyriah moved swiftly, her agility and grace evident as she dodged, flipped, and twisted through the swarms of clones. Her fists and feet connected with deadly precision. But despite her prowess, she could not evade all the sheer numbers of attacks, and she sustained several cuts and deep wounds as she fought, blood splattering each time she moved.

Yelena then lifted large chunks of debris and hurled them at Kyriah, who used her erasure energy to blast them in the air, stripping away their magnetic field and momentum, and causing them to fall harmlessly to the ground.

Yet, not all debris could be neutralized this way. Some pieces flew directly towards Kyriah without any magnetism. She barely dodged two of them before one hit her with heavy force, sending her flying backward.

I ran to the battlefield and created ice barriers to intercept the oncoming sharp and jagged projectiles. "I've got your back, Kyriah!" I shouted as I threw an ice spear to pierce and break in two a large piece of debris that was smashed and cluttered. But Kyriah did not change her glare towards Yelena. She wasn't even fazed by my presence. She got up and continued her assault.

Yelena floated above the battlefield, sneering down at us as her clones grabbed whatever they could find from the rubble and swung them with brute force toward Kyriah. Each time, I countered it with my ice blasts, deflecting or breaking them before they could reach her.

Kyriah kept her fluid and acrobatic fighting style as her pink energy sliced through the swarm of clones. I used my ice powers to open her paths and create barriers, continuing to back her up. Her powers erased the clones and my ice as she continued her path toward Yelena.

As the battle raged on, Yelena's frustration grew. She conjured more and more clones, trying to overwhelm us with sheer numbers. But for every clone that appeared, Kyriah cut through them with ease, adapting and pushing back each wave.

I continued the push, forming a massive ice spear and hurling it toward a group converging below Yelena. Kyriah followed, launching waves of erasure energy with a series of rapid dodges, punches, and kicks.

For a moment, time seemed to stand still. Yelena floated above us, looking down with anger. The air of the battlefield was littered with the remnants of dissipating white particles of her clones and the ground was scarred and broken.

Kyriah, her body mostly covered in blood, her clothes torn and tattered, still stood tall. The pink aura around her shimmered with intensity, casting an otherworldly glow over the battlefield. Her eyes burned with unwavering determination.

Yelena's face twisted with rage. "You and your cursed ability, Kyriah!" she spat out, her voice venomous as it echoed across the battlefield. "You're a cheat, an abomination. With your powers, those with Clemons Cells will always fear you and normal people will never accept you. You'll be alone forever. You should just die!" Her words dripped with hatred.
