Author here! I want to start this chapter off by saying to boycott Lose My Breath! Charlie Puth is a known Zionist and a rape apologist, someone we don't want our boys to be associated with. They have so many other songs you can support. Please put your morals over your idols, missing one song will not hurt you or the boys.

If you're upset by this message, please stop reading. I have no interest in having you as a reader.

Love the author, Emberly~

Now angst time.

The lights from the TV flickered with colors as Jisung found himself being awoken by them, groaning slightly as he looked around confused. It was still dark, whatever light coming from the TV and the lights outside illuminated the room in a soft glow.

Minho had an arm around him and was still snoring softly, oblivious to the faint light. He let out a heavy sigh as he gently removed Minho's arm and sat up, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He squinted out the window, noticing the faint outline of the raindrops falling against the glass. He let out a heavy sigh as the pattering of the rain silenced his thoughts. He looked around, seeing a faint glow coming from the kitchen.

He stood slowly, not wanting to wake his friends, making his way to the kitchen to investigate the source of the light. With soft steps, he slowly approached, squinting more as attemptedto make out the blurry figure standing in front of the fridge.

"Changbin?" He muttered.

The figure turned around, eyes wide, before letting out a soft sigh. "Oh, it's just you."

Jisung smirked softly, moving in more and leaning against the countertop. "What are you doing awake?"

Changbin could only shrug. "Really, I couldn't sleep. Just way too much on my mind."

"Anything you want to talk about?"

Changbin looked away, hesitance written over his face. "I don't know. It's really just a bunch of sappy stuff that you probably have no interest in," he chuckled, unable to make eye contact.

Jisung's face softened, moving close to Changbin and placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. Changbin looked up with big eyes, his lips trembling slightly.

"I mean, you don't have to open up to me, but maybe it would help?"

Changbin hesitated for a second before opening his mouth. "I think I'm still in love with Hyunjin."

"Oh."

He scoffed. "I know, right? It's complicated and messy, but I can't help but feel my heart flutter whenever I see him. He's just so... perfect and beautiful in every way., and- and..."

"And taken?"

He nodded sadly and slowly. "And taken." He let out a deep sigh and lowered his head. "Of course, I fall for the one I can't have, and it's like- I'm happy for him. I truly am. I see him and Seungmin, and they just are so happy together, but sometimes I just wish it was me and not Seungmin."

"Wow, I... I don't know how to respond."

"I know you wouldn't. This feeling has been eating me up since school has started, and it's just becoming unbearable for me. And of course, I can't say anything to Hyunjin because I don't want to ruin our friendship."

Jisung chuckled. "You're like me. I can't, or don't really, want to say anything to Minho. I've been keeping my feelings from him for so long that it's become second nature to me."

Changbin sighed, his shoulders slumping. "At least you have a chance with Minho. If I told Hyunjin how I felt, I would probably lose my best friend."

"I see."
