“So, have you talked to him?” Jisung whispered, leaning close to Seungmin.
Seungmin shook his head, his eyes not drifting away from the whiteboard. “No, not yet,” he spoke as he wrote down notes. “I plan to after school though.”
Seungmin smiled as he nudged his side. “Sounds good. Hopefully, you two can sort anything out.”
Seungmin turned to look at him, his eyes filled with a mix of uncertainty and hope. “Yeah, I hope so too,” he put his pencil down, taking a pause before continuing. “This is so stressful. I’ve barely been able to focus on anything all day because I just keep overthinking it all.”
Changbin sat up from his chair, looking at them. “What are we talking about?”
Seungmin turned his head to face the front of the classroom. “Nothing…” He took another deep breath, his face slamming into the desk.
Changbin stared in shock and confusion as Jisung awkwardly patted his back. “He’s stressed about making up with Hyunjin,” he whispered to Changbin.
“Oh- I guess that is an appropriate reaction.”
Jisung nodded, still patting his back. “You’ll be fine, Seungmin.”“Will I be though?”
“Yes. You are just dramatic.”
He began to groan. “Come on, even saying dramatic makes me think of him.”
Changbin stifled a laugh, Seungmin turning his head to glare.
He cleared his throat, looking away. “Sorry, not an appropriate time to laugh,” He paused before looking back. “Wait, didn’t you literally talk to him last night?”
“You talked to him?” Jisung questioned.
Seungmin sat back up. “Yeah, I told him we would talk today but now I just feel like shit.” He sighed, pushing his hair back and looking over at them with a very stressed expression. “Talking to him last night was a step forward, but now the reality of actually having that conversion is hitting me so hard.”Jisung opened his mouth to speak as the bell rang out. Seungmin buried his face into his hands.
“Noo… I have him in the next class. And I sit right next to him.”
Jisung looked away. “Well… Either… hmmm… I’m out of advice and words. I wish you luck though.” He stood and grabbed his things.
The two were quick to follow, the three walking out the door and into the busy hallway. Jisung waved them goodbye as they went their separate ways for class, walking down the hall. He walked alone looking around the hallway filled with students bustling about in the hope of catching someone. Within seconds of looking, he felt a few taps on his shoulder, quickly turned with a glare on his face.
Minho beamed with happiness. “You didn’t find me~”
Jisung scorned, “Damn it, I was so confident I would find you first.”
“You underestimate me, my friend. I will always have the upper hand over you.”
He shook his head. “I’ll catch you one day.”
Minho smiled brighter as he grabbed his hand. “Enough with this, you have a math test to ace.”
Jisung’s face turned sour as he groaned. “Please don’t remind me of it.”
Minho nudged him with a grin on his face. “I believe in you. You studied so hard and I just know you’re gonna do amazing.”
He shrugged. “I guess.”
