Jisung sat at his desk once again, working on his homework. Soft music flowed through the room as the morning sun went through the opened window. He hummed softly along with the song, a favorite from Minho, a song he had heard millions of times at that point. He smiled softly as he wrote down his answers to his homework, putting his pencil down. He grabbed one of his wrist, stretching his arms forward and then moving to above his head, arching his back. He let out a groan as he stretched, his eyes squeezing shut. He dropped his hands, shaking his head as he returned to focusing.
That focus did not stay long as his door was opened. He looked back, making eye contact with Minho.
"Time to do chores,” Minho said.
Jisung nodded, closing his book. He stood up and pushed his chair in. He left the room, meeting everyone in the living room. He sat down on a couch next to Changbin, looking up at Minho.
“So, what’s today’s assignments?” Hyunjin asked from another couch.
Minho pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket, and unfolding it. “Let’s see… Seungmin and Jisung are grocery shopping. Changbin, Hyunjin and I will be cleaning our place, and then Jisung has dinner duties. School will be serving lunch between 11:30 to 1:30.”
“That all?” Seungmin asked.
“Yep, that’s all.”
Changbin smiled, standing up. “I call cleaning the living room!”
Minho shrugged, folding the paper up and shoving it in his back pocket. “You have fun with that. I’m cleaning the kitchen and my dorm.” He walked off.
Jisung stood up, looking at Seungmin. Seungmin looked back as he stood. “Let’s go Jisung. Is there any item we need badly?” Hyunjin opened his mouth, Seungmin sending him a glare. “I’m not getting you junk food.”
Hyunjin pouted. “Fine…”
“Uh… I have a list in one of my notebooks-” Jisung cut in. “Let me go get it.”
Seungmin nodded as Jisung left for his room. Jisung went into his room, going to his desk. He opened a few drawers, trying to find his notebook. An arm wrapped around his waist, the boy looking back and seeing Minho. Minho smiled, wrapping his other arm around him and holding him close.
“I won’t be long, Minho,” Jisung teased, leaning into him. “You’ll be fine.”
“I’m being left with Changbin and Hyunjin though. Something is gonna go wrong,” Minho whined, shoving his face into his neck.
Jisung giggled, petting him. “Seungmin and I won’t be gone long. Relax.”
Minho huffed, kissing his neck. “Bitch.”
“Ew, let go of me-” Jisung squirmed in his touch.
Minho let go, looking down at him. His eyes gazed past him, reaching past him to grab a thing. He held it up. “You looking for this?”
Jisung gasped, grabbing the notebook from him. “Yes! Thank you, Minho.”
Minho smiled, backing away. “No problem. Have fun with Seungmin.”
Jisung nodded, leaving Minho alone.
!
Jisung and Seungmin wandered the store with their basket, looking for and grabbing items they needed. Jisung was quiet, letting Seungmin do the vast majority of the talking and shopping.
He was preoccupied by his thoughts, unsure of what he was feeling at that moment. He sighed to himself, feeling a ghost of Minho’s arms around his waist. He really wanted those arms around him all day and night, wanting to be as close as he could be with Minho. But this was Jisung. He knew he could never be that bold when it came to Minho.
