And we are back! so excited for this act, cause it explores (Y/n) capabilities of hand to hand combat and gun work !!

"There were others like you,

do you remember them?"

A girl, dressed in military armour, whipped around the corner. Her blue eyes were covered by black glasses. A hand axe rested on her thigh and a handgun was comfortably being held in her hands. Her serious face dropped at the sight of her co-worker and friend.

"(Y/n)," She voiced with a relieved smile. Her body quietly moving towards him, mindful of her surroundings.

"Butcher and Sniper?" 𝘔𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘖𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳.

"Come on! Oliver-- sorry, Sniper, is waiting at the pick up point!" The girl grabbed the boy's arm and pulled him off the floor. The two made their way through the building. (Y/n) couldn't remember for the life of him, where they were. A facility of WICKED? A training arena? He couldn't picture the place in mind.

"You three were what Ava called the Guardian project. She wanted someone or, something, to be the protectors of her research. I just simply called you soldiers."

A boy laid near the edge of a building, his sniper pointed towards the east. His head, his mask limiting his movement, moved over the shoulder to see his two friends coming up the stairs. Oliver rolled over onto his back and cautiously got up.

"But you... you were more than that. Weren't you, (Y/n)?"

At the distant sound of a gun going off, Oliver lurched forward. Blood followed the bullet out of his chest, splattering onto the concrete. Maddie felt a arm wrap around her waist as she screamed for her friend.

"Oliver! (Y/n), let me go! We can't leave him! Oliver!"

A choking sound was muffled by the howling wind, but Maddie still heard it. She bashed her hands against the boy's arms, tears streaming down her face. (Y/n) pulled the girl back down the first flight of stairs. Her body getting pushed against the wall.

"Maddie-- listen to me--"

"I loved him, (Y/n)! We have to go back!--"

"I know you did, but Maddie-- listen, hey, listen to me. It's not safe. Janson wants to kill you. Ava wants you dead."

Maddie was still trying to fight against (Y/n). His eyes followed her grieving ones. A hand was holding a firearm gun close to his body while the other dug into her shoulder to keep Maddie still.

At the mention of Janson and Ava, the girl paused and her eyes stared up at him in pained confusion.

"You were the only one Ava trusted. You were the best of the best, here at WICKED. Perfect scores on all trials, on all scales. That's how you got the nickname, Bloodhound. Yet the one thing you could never fucking let go..."

"Come on," (Y/n) pulled her towards the basement of the building. Above them, windows shattered and yelling could be heard. Maddie snapped her head up as she watched rope drop down the void of the stairway.
