(Jack-O-Moon is genderfluid and has a crisis on if they're have a he or she day.)

Jack expressed switching expressions and genders at a pretty early development. Solar helped them express themselves, but now that he was gone...

Jack struggled with the fluidity of their gender without Solar there, they usually talked to him about this and now they... felt like they couldn't.

Today, Jack stood in front of the closet from the room Moon made for them in Lunar's house. Jack tapped their fingers against their thigh, pacing back and forth.

Was it a girl day? Boy day?

Jack was struggling with figuring it out, they already tried both of their outfits and repeating their names in their head.

Jack for boy days.

Jackie for girl days.

They sighed and decided to go with their pants and shirt. If they figured out they were a girl later, they covered their chest and if they were a boy later, they had pants on.

Jack left their room, settling for going by Jack as their name today.

As the day went by, Jack felt.. wrong. But they didn't know WHY.

It wasn't until they ran into Sun that things came crashing down.

"Hey, what are your pronouns today?" Sun asked,

Jack froze, anxiety was creeping in. What should they say? Jack relayed the question and thought about their pronouns once more.

She didn't fit, he didn't fit.

Jack felt themselves spiraling and Sun took their shoulders.

"Jack?" He asked, "Do you not know your pronouns today?"

Jack was silent before shaking their head.

"Okay, that's alright." Sun said, a smile that made Jack slowly smile back but they were confused.

"Isn't it... weird?"

"No, of course not! Sometimes it's normal for genderfluid people to not know their gender some days!" Sun said.

He hummed in thought, "Let's try something. I'll go over pronouns with you!"

Sun sat down with Jack.

"Let's start with he and him!" Sun took a deep breath, "Hey, this is Jack! He is the bodyguard of Lunar, he is a sweet animatronic who loves to hang out with Dazzle!"

Jack felt icky at the pronouns, shaking their head.

"Okay, next is she and her! I'll also use Jackie." Sun said, "Hey, this Jackie! She is the bodyguard of Lunar, she is a sweet animatronic who loves to hang out with Dazzle!"

Jack felt a little better, but shook their head.

"Okay, how about they and them?" Sun asked, "Hey, this is Jack! They are the bodyguard of Lunar, they are a sweet animatronic who loves ti hang out with Dazzle."

Jack perked up, "I like that, but with my girl name."

Sun smiled, "Okay! We got it figured out for now!" He said,

"Is they/them okay?" Jackie asked, "Isn't it grammatically incorrect?"

"Some people use it! It sometimes signifies they are neither or both, that's okay if you identify with it." Sun said,

Jackie smiled and hugged Sun, "Thank you!"

"You're welcome, Jackie!" Sun said,

Jackie felt very happy at their name.
