Pond did tell P'Boun that Dunk thinks that the Juntapun clan is a front. He too suspect that it could be a possibility and told him that they would look further into the Mondschein clan as well. Perhaps there was a survivor that they didn't know of.

Dunk had looked normal after their grim conversation. He was surprised to learn that Dunk played the guitar too. He had spent time jamming with Gemini and Fourth. They had gotten closer, especially Fourth who had taken a liking to Dunk as he did Phuwin. He had joined them sometimes to unwind but mostly he was concerned that Dunk will do something extreme again. He had put his guard down when Dunk seemed calm. He was relieved when he heard him laugh for the first time. It was the ever cheerful Fourth who managed to bring that laughter out of him. It was beautiful.

Phu, mai huang na (don't worry). Your hia is doing fine.

He should have known that was the calm before the storm. The very next evening, he heard the rushing footsteps of P'Jimmy. Phuwin's bed was a crime scene. Dunk had tried his best to not mess up his room. He didn't want to ruin the memory of his brother. His wounds were deeper than the last round to the point that he could see his bone. He really was hanging by a thread from the look of Phi Jimmy's face. Everyone was hovering outside the room, hoping for some good news.

"He is breathing..." That was the most positive news that P'Jimmy could give. What could have triggered him to do this?

"Sire, the interclan meeting is in 2 hours." P'Book informed Pond. Pond cursed. Of course, it had to be that! Dunk really has his way of finding information when he wanted to. He wasn't given a choice but to follow Dunk's plan. He couldn't ruin it, not after all the sacrifice that he did. He steeled himself as he spoke to Gemini, Fourth, P'Force, P'Book and P'Jimmy for what is ahead of them. They nodded grimly.

The 3 of them were waiting at the main hall with as much of a neutral look that they muster while Force and Book ushered P'Arm, P'Leo, P'Bright, P'Tay and his mate, P'New  in along with Gawin. Pond chuckled internally. He couldn't deny that Gawin was smart. He had gathered the eldest who carried the most weight in clan politics and he knew could influence Pond's decision.

"Pond, we have all agree we need to have a look at Natachai from the Guntachai clan before it escalate further. You need to show us proof of life. Nong Pond, please be reasonable. We know Phu meant a lot to you. But this is someone's life we are talking about." P'Arm tried to persuade him.

"That's what P'Jimmy is here for, to report to you that he is alive." He pointed towards P'Jimmy who never attends interclan meetings.

"We need to be answerable to the Gunatachai clan, nong Pond. We haven't had a feud in  millenniums, we sure don't plan to start one. Bring him out." Pond didn't miss Phi New's pleading look as he supported P'Arm. The rest of them nodding to Phi New's statement. Pond gestured towards P'Force and P'Book who nodded their head.  Force had carried him in while Book opened the door. He laid him down on the floor before Pond while the other eldest and representatives looked on.

"Pond, this is too much!" P'Arm rushed towards Dunk. There wasn't an inch of skin that wasn't bleeding and all of them could see the silver shining in his blood. He would be suffering from silver poisoning for sure. The only indication that he was alive was the fact that P'Arm could still feel his shallow breath.

"I have something that could heal him" Gawin tried to act inconspicuous as he grab the syringe ready to inject it into Dunk hurriedly. P'Jimmy stopped him just in time.

"What is in this?" He asked. He had every right to stop him being the healer within the Lertratkosum clan.

"A healing concoction from my clan. You won't know anything about it but it heals silver poisoning. He will heal in no time. We need to hurry before he dies." Gawin answered with annoyance as he tried to get P'Jimmy to let go of his arm but his grip was strong.
