"He's not dead?!" Joss looked at Luke. He showed him pictures that they managed to capture. Joss scrolled through them.
"No, but he is definitely torturing him. He brought Natachai to where his mate was found. He is hanging by a threat. Some saw Eldest Prem from the Guntachai clan at the Lertratkosum clan house but they didn't let him take Natachai back... It feels like he is not done torturing him" Luke continued to report.
"When is he planning to kill him..." Joss slammed the table.

Pond had woken up, feeling refreshed. It was the best sleep he had ever had since Phuwin's death. He had covered Dunk with a blanket before leaving. He checked on clan matters. The next time he was back to check on Dunk, he was sketching a weird symbol.

"Have you ever seen any clan with this symbol?" Dunk showed him but it was unfamiliar to Pond.
"I'll find out more about it. You should be resting." He still had silver poisoning, causing difficulty for his wounds to heal. Pond ushered him back to bed.
"There was something I saw..." Dunk started as Pond covered him with the blanket.
"They injected something into him, it caused his death. I had wondered too when Joong's body was intact. There wasn't a wooden stake. The question is whether it affects just pure bloods or vampires in general. Either way, it's more than just the murder of my mate and nong. We should get Phi Boun's help. This is bigger than we think it is." Dunk looked at Pond with all seriousness. Pond nodded at his assessment.
Perceptive, just like Phu.

Boun had fussed over Dunk before he could even get a word edgewise. His wounds were much better than the time Prem saw it but still, it was ghastly. Pond, Gemini, Fourth, Force, Book and Prem were there along with them as they discussed about what Dunk saw. Pond had passed Dunk's sketch to Boun. He had seen that symbol before but he couldn't remember where. He passed it to Prem.
"It looks familiar... but I can't recall" Prem said. Bound nodded in agreement. Prem took a picture of it, saying that he will look into his collection to see if there's any information on it.
"We have to be discreet in our investigation. We don't want them to know that we are catching onto them. This is more information than we imagine we could get. But I want you to promise me, nong Dunk. You can't harm yourself any further. We can do this without you harming yourself." Boun pleaded to Dunk.
"Nuu... Nuu can't promise you that" Dunk sighed with his eyes closed. Pond could only sigh along with him. Stubborn like Phu.
"They will know. As of now, we don't even know if they have eyes in this clan house. The only question is when will they get desperate enough to make a mistake and reveal themselves." Gemini's eyes brighten at what Dunk said.
