EP 14 PD ending with a lil JD & PP

Dunk had his hand out as he touched every moonflower on his way to peak of the waterfall. The air glittered with their pollens. It was a magical sight. He breathed in the fresh mountain air when he reached his destination. The rushing sound of the water from the waterfall could be heard but instead of making him nervous, he felt calm.  He had never felt this free, like he was finally free of his burdens.

"I hope you'll be happy, nong. Joong, ngaou mai (are you lonely, Joong)? Dunk is coming to accompany you. La gorn, P'Pond (Goodbye, P'Pond)." He rubbed his thumb against the pendant of the necklace. He opened his arms wide as he fell into the water, letting the current bring him to where he needs to go. As he was about follow the current down the waterfall, he felt a strong arm reached out to him. He was hanging at the edge of the waterfall. He wondered what had happened until he saw Pond's worried face.

"What are you doing, P'Pond? Let me go. Let me go and you'll be with nong again! Don't you want to be with him?" What Dunk said tore at Pond's heart

"Not at your expense, no! Not at all. We can be together, Dunk. We can be together like we were meant to be. Just don't let go." He held onto Dunk with all his might. When Gemini told him that they were essentially the same person, he didn't understand. When Gemini asked him to think before he lose Dunk too, he couldn't. But the moment he knew Dunk was planning to die for his happiness, he realized how wrong he was. He was afraid to lose him. He couldn't imagine a day without him. All their moments together flashed across his mind. All his thoughts was of Dunk's smile, his laughter, their time together when he was rushing here. It was then he came to the realization- he loves him. He really does love him. His body had recognized him since the day they met. He knew his scent but his brain couldn't get onboard in his grief. The moment he saw those blood tears rolling down his face, it tugged at his heart but he didn't acknowledge it. Their time together had proven this fact over and over again. Every fiber in his being told him, he was him. 

Gem was right, they were essentially the same, why did he had to differentiate them? 

"I'm not my nong, P'Pond. I'm broken. Bpoy gu (let me go), P'Pond. Let go and you'll get nong back and I'll be with Joong. It's for the best." That resigned smile on Dunk's face broke his heart. 

"Joong is part of me, Dunk. He is a part of my soul. We've confirmed it. They had taken me for 10 days and made Joong, so don't you give up on me. Don't you dare let go! Joong will never forgive you. I'll never forgive you! Don't you dare let go! Gu chawp meung! (I love you)" A flash of memory crossed Dunk's mind. It was a conversation that he had with Joong some time back.

"Joong, if I ever die before you, you are free to love whoever you want na. I want you to be happy." Dunk said casually as he closed his book. Joong frowned at what Dunk said. 

"Why do you think of all these unnecessary things. I don't need your blessing. I will never love another." He hugged Dunk from the back and hung his chin over his shoulder. 

"I want to know that you'll open your heart to someone so they may take care of you when I'm gone." Dunk smiled and laid a soft kiss on his lips. Although Dunk believed that there was no survivor who knew he was Ludost, Dunk would be a fool to think that no one would come at him for revenge. He  enjoyed the peace that he has now but he was not a complacent person.  

"Well, I don't want you to simply open your heart to anyone. You can only fall in love with the person who say this to you. Don't you dare let go! Joong will never forgive you. I'll never forgive you! Don't you dare let go! Gu chawp meung ( I like you) !" Dunk had laughed at Joong.

"Alaiwa (what the f*ck)? Why would that person say that to me? What will we be doing for him to say this to me?" Dunk looked at Joong with confusion written all over his face.
