Lost n Found

Celerity and Slingshot stood on the roof of a building in the rain. Nancy was bitter and eager to find The Red Dragon. She wanted to get her revenge and find Emma's mom but she knew she only had one option and it was to find Emma's mom.

"Where could they be?" Said Jayden seeing the bitter look on Nancy's face.

"I don't know but promise you'll stop me if I try to kill him" said Nancy

Then Jayden uneasily said "I promise"

Then, they started going building to building trying to find some Red Dragons that would snitch. It had been atleast an hour until they finally found some.

Celerity jumped into the alley to fight them on sight then Slingshot jumped in. While Celerity was fighting she didn't hold back, forgetting she had super strength she snapped a thug's arm and broke another one's jaw.

When they were down to the last one Celerity grabbed him and started interrogating him while Jayden looked at the thug's that were brutally beaten by Celerity.

Then, Celerity screamed "Where is your boss!?" right in the thug's face

"I don't know" the thug screamed

Then Celerity snapped his arm and continued screaming at the thug "If you don't tell me I'll snap the other arm!"

"I swear I don't know" said the thug screaming in pain.

"Yo, I don't think he knows" said Slingshot feeling bad for the thug.

"Oh my- what did I do." Said Celerity who was now stressed

"I think you broke a couple of his bones, but it could be worse" said Jayden

"I didn't even mean to I'm just tired and I'm just trying my best to find Emma's mom and I'm really stressing out."

"Well, I'll interrogate him then" said Slingshot

"Yo, I'm sorry bout my partner she was just wondering where your boss was." Said Slingshot

"Fine, he's at that abandoned hotel and he has a hostage with him" said the thug

Then Slingshot said "Thanks man, now lemme get you to a hospital cause she fucked you up."

After, Slingshot and Celerity went to the hotel and entered through the roof. It was pitch black and filled with haunting noises but they made their way through the hotel floors until they found the floor The Red Dragon was on.

They spotted a dimly lit room down the hallway and decided to check it. Slingshot went ahead and peeked into the room then motioned for Celerity to follow. Celerity peaked in the door and nodded her head signaling that it was Emma's mom.

Then, Celerity looked back in to see how many people were in the room and counted 7 including Emma's parents. She whispered to Slingshot "Seven people including Emma's parents"

Then, Slingshot nodded his head.

"I'm gonna go in first then you come in when I take out the first two" whispered Celerity

And Slingshot nodded his head.

Celerity crashed into the room then used her speed to subdue two of the thugs then Slingshot took out the last 3. Then, Celerity untied Emma's mom and told Slingshot to get her out. Once they were gone Celerity immediately engaged the Red Dragon into a fight and got his sword away from him.

It was now a fair fight so Celerity swung her right fist and The Red Dragon easily evaded her then, she tried a roundhouse kick and was evaded once again so she grabbed a lamp and hit the Red Dragon stunning him for a short time but one of the thugs got back up and grabbed Celerity causing her to drop the lamp and allowing the Red Dragon to flee.

She threw the thug off her and looked around the room.

"Fuck! Not again" said Celerity

Then, Slingshot ran back up and said "What happened? Where is he?"

"He's gone. Again." Said Celerity who was now fuming

After they checked around the hotel Celerity and Slingshot went home.

"Good news. I got your mom back" said Nancy

"Is there bad news" said Emma

"Yeah, I didn't get your dad. I'm gonna try and get him tomorrow night or the next time I find him" said Nancy

"Alright, is my mom at home" asked Emma

"Yeah, Slingshot dropped her off" said Nancy

"Ok, is it cool if I stay here for the night?" Asked Emma

"Sure" said Nancy
