"WHAAAT?!?!" You shouted in disbelief.

"What do you mean by "I don't know"?!?!" You asked Zoro angrily.

"I meant what I said. I don't know" Zoro answered.

"So, basically, we're lost... In the middle of the ocean... Just drifting... Hoping we'll reach an island?" You said as You tried to calm down, failing miserably.

"Yeah, I guess so" Zoro answered, completely calm and unfazed by everything.

"And... You're fine with this... situation...?" You said as you got even angrier, still trying to calm down, and still failing miserably.

"Yeah, I don't see any proble-"

"YOU'RE FINE WITH THIS?!?!" You said, finally exploding and shouting at him.

"WE ARE LOST IN THE OCEAN, DRIFTING AND IN DANGER OF GOING FACE TO FACE WITH A SEA KING, WITH LIMITED FOOD AND WATER, AND YOU'RE FINE WITH IT?!?!"

"I can go a few days without food or wa-"

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!! AND IT MIGHT NOT EVEN BE A FEW DAYS! It can be weeks, months... OR EVEN YEARS! WE'RE IN THE OCEAN! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!"

"... Fine... What do you want me to do about it now?"

"NOW?! WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING NOW! EVEN IF WE WANTED TO! YOU DIDN'T EVEN BRING A MAP OR A COMPASS! We're done for... We're never finding an island by just drifting..."

"Don't be so pessimistic, I'm sure we'll find an island eventual-"

"YOU DON'T GET TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT "MR-I'M-ALWAYS-GETTING-LOST""

"OI, NOW YOU'RE GOING TO FAR! I'M NOT THAT BAD AT DIRECTIONS!"

"NOOO... RORONOA ZORO GETTING LOST? NEVERRRRRR"

"SHUT UP, (Y/N)!"

"YOU SHUT UP!"

And so you and Zoro continued fighting over the current situation, where you were both lost at sea with no certain destination, no map and no compass, and limited supplies that could last for a week at best. You both knew that arguing wouldn't change the outcome of the current situation, nor help with anything at all really, but it was too late to back down, both your prides were at stake and neither of you were showing signs of backing down. And so, you both continued arguing for a while until the tension finally turned down, and somehow, you stopped fighting.

And Zoro being Zoro, took a nap right after, laying down with his swords next to him on the railings of the little boat, while you stayed awake to keep watch, not that you could sleep even if you wanted to because you couldn't stop overthinking all the possible outcomes of... well... everything... Despite that, you weren't actually scared, you were just... worried...

An hour passes and you're still keeping watch as Zoro continues sleeping, you weren't exactly bored because your thoughts kept you entertained enough.

You looked over at Zoro since you really wanted to get away from those bad thoughts, and found yourself staring at him, and for quite a while if I may add, so much that you almost lost track of time, 'Was Zoro always this... good looking...?' you thought to yourself as you kept your gaze on him, but you quickly snapped out of it when your thoughts came back to terrorize you even more.

Of course.

Stupid thoughts.

"Ughh..." you grunted at the many possibilities haunting your mind.

With a sigh, you tore your gaze away from Zoro and scanned the horizon for what felt like the hundredth time. The sea stretched out in every direction, an endless expanse of blue, offering no solace or hints of rescue. The sun was beginning its descent, casting an orange glow over the water, and you knew that nightfall would bring its own set of challenges.

Just as you were about to surrender to your thoughts once again, you noticed a faint dot on the horizon. Your heart skipped a beat, and you leaned forward, squinting to get a better look. Was it just your imagination playing tricks on you, or was there actually something out there?

"Zoro! Wake up!" You called out, not taking your eyes off the speck.

He groaned in response, turning over and muttering something incomprehensible.

"Zoro, seriously, wake up! I think I see something!"

That got his attention. He sat up, rubbing his eyes and looking in the direction you were pointing.

"Where? What is it?"

"I don't know yet," you admitted, "but it looks like... an island? Or maybe a ship...?"

Zoro stood up, now fully alert.

"Let me see." He moved to the front of the boat, his sharp eyes narrowing as he tried to make out the shape in the distance. "It does look like something," he finally said, a hint of excitement in his usually calm voice.

You both watched in silence, the tension between you momentarily forgotten as hope surged through your veins. As the minutes ticked by, the shape grew larger and more distinct. It was an island.

As the island gradually became clearer on the horizon, relief washed over you like a gentle tide. The sight of land filled you with renewed hope, banishing the looming sense of dread that had hung over you since you realized you were lost at sea.

"It's an island!" you exclaimed, unable to contain your excitement.

Zoro's face broke into a rare smile, mirroring your own. "About time we found land" he said, his voice tinged with a bit of annoyance.

You nodded fervently, a sense of gratitude swelling within you. "We need to head towards it," you said, already reaching for the oars to steer the small boat in the direction of the island. Zoro joined you at the oars, his muscles rippling as he rowed.

As you approached the shoreline, the details of the island came into sharper focus. Lush green foliage covered the land, and you could see the outline of palm trees swaying gently in the breeze.

With a final push, you guided the boat onto the sandy shore, feeling the solid ground beneath you for the first time in what felt like an eternity. You and Zoro leaped out of the boat, relief flooding through your veins as you set foot on solid ground.

"We made it!" you said, your voice filled with excitement.

Zoro nodded, his expression serene as he took in the tranquil surroundings.

"We did" he agreed, a sense of quiet satisfaction evident in his tone.

As you stood on the beach, basking in the warm glow of the setting sun, you knew that this island was the start of something new... Something... Incredible... Even though nor you nor Zoro knew what was about to come, you were happy to finally have started your adventure...

With him...
