"Come on, Zoro!" You shouted as you ran through the beach, your feet dipping in and out of the clear water as you laughed running ahead of Zoro.

"(y/n), be careful!"

"What's there to be careful about?! This beach is so nice and the sand is as soft as fur! You're missing out, Zoro!"

"We can't stay at this beach forever, (y/n)..."

"But it's so pretty... can I at least draw the scenery before going?"

"Fine, but be quick..."

Right after hearing Zoro's response, you immediately started running towards to boat in a hurry to find something to draw with and draw on, quickly finding a quill and some ink stored next to it, and then right after you found a piece of cloth.

'Good enough' You thought before quickly running back outside to draw as quickly as you possibly could.

You found a rock in the best position for you to sit and have the perfect view of the beach and sea, and with no further ado, you started drawing on the cloth.

"Are you finished?" Zoro said while inspecting the drawing from behind you, looking at it from your shoulder.

"WAAH! DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT, DUMMY!"

"Wow... It's really good..."

Your face started heating up after realizing how close Zoro's face was to yours. "T-thanks..."

"But we need to go, it's getting close to midday."

"Just let me finish this real quick..."

"(y/n)"

"Please, just a little more?"

"(y/n)"

"Come on Zoro..."

"We still have to find a place to stay, if anything we can stay in the boat, but for that, we need to hurry to see if there even is a village for us to stay in"

"Fiiiine... Killjoy..." You groaned as you rolled up the cloth and grabbed the quill and ink to put away in the boat.

"Weren't you the one whining about being stranded in the middle of the sea with no supplies?"

"But that was different! We were literally stranded in the middle of the SEA with no map OR compass to direct us to any island whatsoever!" You argued back, reminding yourself of the moment on the boat when Zoro was sleeping, and without you noticing a small smile started forming on your face.

"Yeah yeah, keep whining, we still have to find someplace to stay for the night"

"Shut up!... But yeah, I guess we do... There might be a village more into the island, let's go back to the boat and grab some things for us to go, we don't know how far away the village is and there might not even be a village there and we just got lucky enough to find a deserted island..."

"You're being pessimistic again"

"There's a difference between being pessimistic and prepared for the worst, y'know Zoro?"

"Whatever, let's just go grab the things on the boat then"

The boat was rather full of, not just supplies but other rather useless things. The boat was quite old and was just left in a corner of the dojo's warehouse gathering dust, and seeing as no one spared the time to clean it, a lot of boxes from the warehouse had stayed inside the boat, so it was kind of hard to find the supplies among other things, not to mention that Zoro was not helping at all with grabbing the wrong things and packing them, and you having to take them out of the backpack, but you both managed to do it after some time.

You were super excited, but sadly you couldn't say the same about Zoro who was just trying his best to follow you through the wilderness.

Sometimes you wondered how his sense of direction could be this bad.

But oh well...

"Zoro, you're going the wrong way again..." You mentally facepalmed yourself for needing to stop for the 20th time when you barely left the beach, and all because Zoro kept getting lost.

"Damnit! Why is this jungle so confusing?! It's like a labyrinth!" Zoro groaned as he turned to your direction and walked towards you.

"Ok that's it..." You grabbed a string from your backpack and tied it to another string and then to another just for it to be long enough. "Zoro, come here" You called with the handmade string in your hand.

"What is it?" Zoro asked as I hugged his waist to wrap one tip of the string around him. "What are you doing...?"

"I'm gonna tie you to me so you don't get lost again, broken compass"

"Do you need help? You look like you're struggling"

"It's harder when you're wearing a haramaki..."

"You sure it's not because you're short?"

"Shut up, broken compass, just because I'm smaller than you, Mr. Colossal, doesn't mean my arms are short, you're just too bulky and the haramaki doesn't help... You COULD just do it yourself..."

Zoro chuckled as you struggled to tie the string around him.

You gasped.

"Did I just make the stone-face, ice prince, emotionless-looking Zoro... Laugh?!"

"Oh come on, it was funny seeing you struggle"

"THEN WHY DON'T YOU HELP ME AND TIE IT YOURSELF?!"

"Fine, fine..."

After the quick argument, Zoro tied one of the tips of the string around his waist and you tied the other tip around yours, and you managed to walk through the jungle much faster since all Zoro needed to do was follow the string that was directly connected to you, so it wasn't that hard, even though he did almost get lost a couple of times, but he quickly found his way back.

After a few hours of walking through the dense jungle, you finally managed to find a village, and with the money Zoro's sensei had given him to start his adventure, you checked into an inn to stay for the night until you both found a way to make money.

"So, what are we gonna do to gain some Belly?" You said as you plopped on the bed.

(just to make it clear, Belly is the monetary currency in One Piece)

"I don't know... I thought you'd figure it out" Zoro said as he sat on the bed opposite of yours.

"Well... I do have an idea... But you're gonna have to do all the work..." You said in a 'please-don't-hate-me-for-it' tone while smiling awkwardly at him.

"Seriously...? Just tell me your stupid plan then" He huffed in annoyance already seeing where this is going.

"Well, did you notice the wanted posters when we entered the inn...?"

"Yeah...?"

"And well, since you're such a good and capable swordsman I thought 'hmm, Zoro could obviously take out these guys since he's so strong' and when you do, the Marines give you a hefty reward depending on the person... Pretty easy, right...? Haha..."

"So basically you want me to take out world-renowned bandits, pirates, and assassins just to make a few bellies...?"

"U-uh... W-when you put it like that..."

"They need to be at least famous and strong enough for the Marines and World Government to give them a bounty"

"It's not like you have a better plan! And you are pretty strong with your three-sword style, I'm sure you could take them on in a fight"

After a brief moment of Zoro's last brain cells thinking he finally gave in.

"Fine."
