Ever since Zoro accepted your proposal to become a Bounty Hunter as a way to make Belly's, you both managed to buy a decent boat and have been going island to island exploring, since Zoro only went bounty hunting when you needed money.

You continued drawing every new landscape you and Zoro encountered and you were pretty happy with your new life.

One year passed and during that time, Zoro got you an actual sketchbook and a pen for your birthday, and in his, you got him some earrings that for some reason the store owner gave you three of them instead of two, but you only noticed when you were giving them to Zoro, so you couldn't do anything about it, but he was still thankful and he just put them all on his left ear...

 Without getting it pierced...

"Zoro... Did you seriously not know you need to get your ears pierced BEFORE putting the earrings on?" You said while bandaging his bleeding ear.

"How was I supposed to know?!" He countered.

You sighed at him, not knowing whether to be annoyed by his stupidity sometimes or worried.

"Well... at least did you... like them...?" Scared he'd say no, you awkwardly asked.

"Of course I did, and you even got me three of them, matches my sword style"

You clearly weren't expecting his reaction, not since you were literally bandaging his ear which was bleeding because of the earrings you gave him, not to mention you got three of them by accident.

"I'm glad you like them, happy birthday"

"Thanks, (y/n)"

When you finished bandaging Zoro's ear, you explained that you needed to get your ears pierced by a professional before putting them on, but since he had pierced them by force while trying them on, he didn't need to anymore, so he just left them there on his ear, and you were pretty happy since he liked your gift.

You didn't notice as the time flew by, another year quickly passed, and you were happy to be by Zoro's side for another year.

You were both on a boat, heading to yet another island, the only thing different is that this time the island was a Marine base. You've never got to see a Marine base up close so you were pretty excited to see it since Zoro didn't let you come with him when he went to collect the bounty of the ones he captured for some reason.

You were drawing him sleeping on your new sketchbook, smiling to yourself, so much that you didn't even notice when you approached the island called "Shells Town". When you finally noticed the island, you hurriedly finished your drawing, closing your sketchbook and putting it inside your backpack along with your pen, and quickly woke Zoro up.

"Zoro! We're here! Look! Look! Look!" You shook him awake, excited like a 5-year-old child.

"Yeah yeah, calm down, (y/n)..." He grumbled awake before getting up and ruffling your hair.

"Let's go! Let's go! Come on! Come on!"

"I'm going... Just calm down first..."

"Come on, Zoro! How can I be calm?! this island looks so cool! I just wanna go draw it already so come on!"

"Fine, fine..."

As you both made your way out of the boat, reaching solid ground, you almost immediately sat on a nearby pole that held up the harbor's wooden bridge and started drawing the scenery as Zoro sighed at your acting, knowing you all too well.

You finished drawing rather quickly because you didn't want Zoro to be standing there just waiting for you. You hopped down and went up to him.

"I'm finished, let's go! Where do you wanna go first?"
