𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩.

★Backstory★:
It was no secret that you and rafe liked each other , the whole school would go on about it. The students would talk about how cute we would look like as a couple to what our kids would look like. You thought they were moving a bit too fast.

Anyways this morning you had a school trip for geography which isn't your favourite subject but it could be worse.

I checked my watch and to my surprise I was late. The pouges always make me late to things. I quickly made it to the bus and pasted a smile on my face to greet the bus driver. "Mrs y/n your late" the lady groaned. "I am very much aware of that" I sighed. "Just sit down" she said.

I sighed from her rudeness and walked down the aisle full on students. I see the only girls that im friends with in that class and I made my way towards them. As soon as they saw me they began to be all giddy. "This seat is taken" one of them said. "are you being serious right now?" I sighed. It was too early for this.

I turned my back on them and walked to find the only seat available. "Hey do you mind if I sit here" I asked the boy with AirPods in. He took one off and replied with "yea go ahead beautiful". I sat my self down next to him then realised. Only one person flirts with me like that. Rafe Cameron. I looked around the bus, realising what my friends had planned and it seemed like everyone knew as they all began to giggle when they saw my face of realisation.

He bus began to move and I prepared myself for this long trip. "You got ants in your pants or something miss y/n" the teacher asked. "the f- no" i replied with still trying to take all this in. " then I wanna see that behind on the chair!" she yelled. "dont talk about my  ass" I huffed before sitting down next to Rafe. The bus began to move and I became bored so quickly. Every now and then ,  I would look at my friends for help but they just responded with giggles and winks.

The only thing that was entertaining was the music blasting through rafes AirPods. "The waters getting colder , let me in your ocean, swim" filled my ears. Chase Atlantic I didn't know he had such a good taste. I hummed to the beat as I read through my notes. "you want one?" Rafe suggested holding out an AirPod. "sure thanks" I smiled.

I turned to look at my friends to make sure they saw what I saw. They all squealed in excitement and gave me a big thumbs up. I didn't even know what I was doing but whatever it was I was doing it right. I smiled cheek to cheek and just stared at my notepad.

The music had made me calm and relaxed I was beginning to actually enjoy this trip. My eyes fluttered as I tried not to fall asleep. "I'm guessing you didn't have an early night beautiful" rafe suggested. "yea I was out with the pouges all night" I responded. "I'm not surprised" he sighed. I playfully nudged his shoulder as he let out a little chuckle. " what do you guys even do for you to be staying up all night" he prodded . "Oh you know just...pouge stuff I guess" I responded.

"You know what I think I did see you and your little gang running around figure 8" he said. "You're always out and about never inside. Why is that?" He asked. "Well my mother likes the pouges but dosnt want too many people in the house at once, Kiaras dad hates JJ, Heyward has had enough of all our bullshit,  John Bs house is the main hang out spot but everything is out of date and we are always hungry, and JJs dad... well let's just say if we do go in , that would be my first and last time you would see me in there" I sighed.

"so your basically homeless" he responded. I gave him a cold glance. "I am not homeless dumbass" I said whilst rolling my eyes. "I mean Sarah's house is always an option" I teased trying to get a reaction off rafe. "Oh yea I think you're forgetting the fact that I also live there and JJ isn't my favourite person in the world." He sighed. "Well now I definitely know that your house isn't an option" I replied. "It is an option, just for you anyway"

I could feel my whole face blushing and a smile appeared on my face. "are you asking me to go to your place?" I smirked. "exactly that" he smirked. "Just me and you" he began to say "no Sarah, no Pouges and definitely not JJ" he demanded. "Wha-whyyy I love JJ!" I groaned "yea sweetheart that's the point. You might love him more than you love me!" He sighed. "What honestly makes you think I love you?" I questioned. He grabbed my chin and made me face him. "See your blushing already"... damn it.

I pulled away, embarrassed my rafes sly comment. A student called out and asked "how long do we have left this is boring as hell". "Stop your whining! And we have 45 minutes left" The whole bus grounded at the boring news. Time seemed to move very slow and my eyes quickly became heavy. It felt like there was a weight on my eyelids that prevented me from keeping them open. My tiredness got the better of me and I finally shut my eyes and laid my head down.

"Everyone off the bus!" The teacher yelled. "Wake up princess" Rafe chuckled to himself. I groaned and nudged him with my elbow. I hesitated to stand up I just wanted 5 extra minutes of sleep but my teacher wasn't getting to let that happen. I met up with my friends who were still giddy as ever and just asked about Rafe. "How was it?" , "Did you enjoy it" "what did he smell like?" Okay now I had to stop them from talking. "Guys chill okay nothing really happened we just talked" I answered back. "I call bullshit." One of them responded . "So your telling me you didn't make our with him?" Another friend asked. "Wha-no! On a school bus!? You guys are crazy" I laughed. Our catch up sesh was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Have I ever told you how beautiful you look whilst your sleeping?" Rafe asked. "First of all that's creepy and second of all what do you mean" I asked a bit confused by rafes approach. "Huh never mind ask some one else" he said whilst walking away with his signature smirk on his face.

"what the fuck is he on about?." I asked but I didn't get a response. "That wasn't a rhetorical question guys" I sighed before turning to them. There eyes were fixed on a screen. "What are you guys looking a-. My jaw dropped. Rafe Cameron had posted on his Snapchat story. 'I mean he dose this all the time why is this time any different?' You may ask well this time it was a photo of me with my head that was laid on his shoulder. My arms were wrapped around his arm and I looked like I was at peace next to him. I looked relaxed and comfortable. He had captioned it 'shes so pretty' . My heart melted and my cheeks began to fluster but I didn't care.

"AWWWW Y/N THIS IS SOO CUTE" one of the girls screamed. "It would look better as my wallpaper" Rafe yelled back as he got off the bus. At this point I began to get hot and flustered. He can be a cutie when he wants to be💞.
