Two large buses entered the premises of Barmer royal palace, and the second-year cadets eagerly looked out the windows, taking in the beauty of the magnificent structure before them. The palace was an epitome of grandeur and history, its architecture a perfect blend of traditional Rajputana style and modern elegance.
The entrance was grand, with towering gates adorned with intricate carvings and golden accents that shimmered in the sunlight. Guards in traditional royal attire stood on either side, their stoic expressions adding to the palace's regal atmosphere. As the buses rolled through the gates, a vast courtyard unfolded before the cadets, its meticulously maintained gardens bursting with vibrant flowers and lush greenery.

The palace itself was a marvel to behold. Constructed from red sandstone and white marble, it stood tall and proud against the clear blue sky. The façade was decorated with detailed jharokhas (overhanging enclosed balconies), each one uniquely designed with latticework that cast delicate patterns of light and shadow. The windows were framed with ornate arches, and above each window was a small chhatri, a dome-shaped pavilion that added to the palace's majestic appearance.
The buses came to a halt, and the cadets disembarked, still awestruck by their surroundings. The main entrance of the palace was flanked by grand staircases on either side, leading up to a large portico supported by intricately carved columns. The wooden doors were massive and intricately carved, with scenes of ancient battles and royal processions etched into the surface.
A man in a formal suit hurried over to Abhimanyu, with four others trailing behind him. "Namaste, kuwarsa! How was your journey?" he asked.
Abhimanyu smiled warmly at the man. "It was good, Mr. Khaled. How have you been?"
"I'm good, your highness," Mr. Khaled replied respectfully.
"Mr. Khaled, these are my cadets," Abhimanyu said, gesturing towards the group of students. "I want you to show them the utmost hospitality. Have you prepared all the rooms I mentioned?"
"Of course, sir. Everything has been arranged just as you instructed. We'll make sure your cadets leave with a lasting impression of this palace," Mr. Khaled stated proudly.
Abhimanyu smiled again, then glanced behind him to see the Super Six looking around with serious expressions. Unlike the other cadets, they didn't seem very impressed with the exterior of the palace. Abhimanyu sighed and leaned closer to Mr. Khaled. "Mr. Khaled, do you see those six? Make sure they receive the royal treatment. Those six are the ones I want to impress the most."
Mr. Khaled took a glance at the Super Six and nodded. "Of course."
The Super Six were scanning their surroundings carefully, their expressions unreadable. They were a unique group, always on high alert and seemingly unimpressed by opulence. Their focus was on something deeper, something beyond the surface grandeur of the palace.
