Wedding day morning.
0900 hours
The next morning, Khushi woke up with a throbbing headache, the consequences of drinking alcohol the previous night quickly catching up with her. She groaned, rubbing her temples, and shuffled out of her room to head to Rajveer's. Just like they usually did in their house, whenever Rajveer was around, all of his siblings and the other youngsters would gather around him like he was a magnet. The same thing was happening here as well. Every morning, all the youngsters would gather in Rajveer's room first before heading down to the restaurant area to eat with everyone.
When Khushi entered Rajveer's room, she found Dhruv Shikhawat, Dev, and Arnav already present, laughing and chatting with Rajveer. As soon as they noticed her, they exchanged knowing glances, their faces lighting up with mischievous grins.
"Well, well, look who decided to grace us with her presence!" Dhruv Shikhawat called out, his voice dripping with mock surprise.
"Good morning, Ruhi!" Dev added with a teasing lilt. "How's our little party queen feeling today?"
Khushi scowled at them, rubbing her temples again. "Don't start, you guys. My head is killing me." she whined.
Arnav smirked, crossing his arms as he leaned back against the couch. "That's what happens when you try to outdrink the boys, Khushi. Didn't I warn you?"
Rajveer, who had been listening with an amused smile, finally spoke up. "You really made last night unforgettable, my dear sister. I don't think anyone will ever forget your... unique party favors."
Khushi groaned, sinking onto the edge of Rajveer's bed. "Please, Bhaiya, don't remind me. I'm so embarrassed!"
But her plea only made them laugh harder. "Oh, come on, Khushi! You were the life of the party!" Dhruv Shikhawat teased. "And I have proof of that too. Want to see the videos I took?"
Khushi's eyes widened in horror as she realized what he meant. "You didn't..."
"Oh, but I did," Dhruv grinned, holding up his phone. "But don't worry, I won't share them with everyone... yet."
Dev chuckled, patting Khushi's back. "Relax, Khushi. We're just teasing. But seriously, you gave us a night to remember."
Arnav, though teasing, couldn't help but soften his expression. "And for the record, I never thought you were annoying. But you were definitely out of control."
Khushi pouted, feeling even more embarrassed. "I'm never drinking again. Ever." She declared. "I have no idea what got into me last night." she grumbled.
Rajveer laughed, pulling her into a side hug. "It is for the best. But hey, at least you kept us all entertained."
Just then, Manik and Nandini entered the room, followed by Payel and Rishav. The moment Nandini saw Khushi's embarrassed face, she burst into laughter. "Oh, Di, I heard all about your adventures last night!"
Manik smirked, joining in on the teasing. "You were the star, Khushi di. Even your used tissues became collector's items."
Payel and Rishav exchanged amused looks before Payel piped up, "I can't believe I missed it! But don't worry, Khushi, we'll be sure to remind you of it for years to come."
Khushi buried her face in her hands, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. "You all are the worst! Why do you have to keep bringing it up?"
Rajveer chuckled, squeezing her shoulder. "Because it's not every day we get to see you let loose like that, Khushi."
The room filled with laughter as Khushi's siblings and friends continued to tease her, their playful banter making the morning more lighthearted. Despite her embarrassment, Khushi couldn't help but smile, grateful for the close bond she shared with everyone. Even though they teased her relentlessly, she knew it was all in good fun, and deep down, she wouldn't trade these moments for anything.
