Alessia's Pov :

"So where are you want this little one?" y/n asks as she places her hands into a pair of black latex free gloves from the tray at her side. i swallowed, licking my lips as i fiddled with my fingers,

"Where do you think is best for me? You're the professional right?" She glances up into my eyes, smiling,

"You came to me for a tattoo and didn't decided where you wanted it beforehand? That's pretty impulsive darling." she explains. I'd found something i loved, my friend ella came up with the idea. Since my friend had come to pierce her septum almost six months ago, She'd enticed me. Maybe it was theoverall look of her:the bold eyes, the dark hair that was always styled a different way. She wasn't what anyone would expect to see me dating, but i wasn't opposed to the idea. She didn't know me very well. She told me that she admired that i came in and placed a deposit down and the next week she was sitting right in front of me, squeezing soap onto a stack of folded paper towels.

"You're kinda... the only person I'd trust to do this to me. Other things too but-" my hand flew up to cover my mouth as we just stared at each other. A slow smile creeps across her face as she leans her fist on her thigh in front of me. Her confidence gave me a feeling i've never felt before.

"Ah yeah? What other things would you let me do?" She asks, teasingly.

"Oh my god," cheeks burning, "I can't believe I said that." She lets out a soft laugh in response to me,

"That's okay. I uhm, I recommend the side of your wrist. It's only a small one and it's somewhere you'll always see it. it's normally a smooth area of skin so it'll look good." She states. I stare at her for a moment and watch her visibly shrink a little, "if you don't want, you can also do the outside of your arm or-"

"No. side of my wrist is good. I think that'll be perfect."She nods.

"Alright. Uhm, if you want to just get comfortable. it's easier for you to lay on your front so you don't have to twist too much." She tells me quietly. She turns back once i'm laid and smooths the stencil paper over my wrist.

"This is pretty Alessia. It suits you well. When I saw it in my appointment book i remember thinking that it'll look good in black. This seems like something sentimental to you." She tells me. i gave a soft smile over my shoulder. It wasn't anything big, just a sideways heart with the number 7 above it.

She peels the paper from my skin, laying it at the top of her tray, dipping two of her fingers into a jar of Vaseline and rubbing it across the back of her gloved hand,

"Last chance to take it back." She warns. I giggled softly as she puts me at ease, "This might hurt."

"Alright. Here we go." Her machine buzzes to life and she dips the tips of her needles into the small cap of black ink a few times before she wheels herself just behind me, her legs spread to accommodate the bench i laid on. The first press of needle to my skin is uncomfortable.

"You like tattooing?" You ask her softly. She blinks slowly as if the sound of my voice has disrupted her.

"Yeah. I had contemplated going to law school for a while but the idea of sitting in an office or a courtroom all day, staring at the same gray walls all day didn't sit well with me. So I chose to do something I was really into. I knew I was good at like... art, ya know? I can draw, I can paint, I can sculpt. What's tattooing?" She explains. I nod whilst listening to every word, "By the way, I'm honored you chose me to do your first."
