Maena sat with Bora in the lecture hall as always. Her thoughts kept wandering elsewhere, or to Sunghoon especially. She felt better knowing that Sunghoon didn't dislike her. And now if she thinks, he's really nice, distant, but still nice. It all felt undone scattered, but still somehow right.
She doesn't remember if she felt the same with her ex, Kangjoon. That certain tension with Sunghoon. He is so unpredictable and Maena hardly knows him at all, like as a person. But maybe that's what it was, she was able to get to know and learn more about a new person in her life.
At the end of the lesson she rest on the table with her chin resting on her hands and all in her own worlds. Sometimes she realized that she even was smiling a little and Bora probably noticed it many times as well.
The sounds of books being closed were heard from the room when the lesson was apparently over. Bora sighed as she also closed her own book. "Really Maena. You've been zoning out all class, how do you think your studies are going at this rate?", she nagged.
"Who's been zoning out?", Jihoon's voice approached them from the seat aisle.
"This girl. In a world of her own."
"Really? Are you sick, Maena?", Jihoon asked and lowered himself to see Maena's face.
"Yeah.", Maena replied wonderingly. "Yeah I think I'm sick.", she continued and rose up from her seat. She doesn't know where that energy came from, but it made her smile all the time, and so she smiled. "But in a good way.", she added and glanced both her friends, who were looking at her strangely.
"I'll use the bathroom quickly.", she then informed eagerly and hit both their shoulder lightly before slipping behind Jihoon from between the benches to the stairs.
Jihoon and Bora were left staring at each other in confusion. "Seriously, what's with her?", Bora wondered, to which Jihoon shrugged.

Maena soon realized how she actually has fell behind of her subjects. Not just today, but earlier too. And not only one subject, but more and her major as well. She didn't mind that a lot yet, since she believes she can catch up everything. And the final exams are in about a week and a half. Before her wedding.
And somehow even though she wasn't so upset about being with Sunghoon and waiting for the wedding anymore. But still it stressed her out a lot. Just to imagine a damn wedding and then to be married to a man permanently. That's stressful.
Now she was sitting in the cafeteria with Bora. They saw Jihoon approaching them from another table. He brought his tray too and sat next to Bora.
"Hey, some of my friends and their friends are going to have a bar dinner tonight. You're invited too. Because you're my friends.", Jihoon informed.
"Oh my god, really?", Bora inquired excitedly to which Jihoon nodded. "We're so in."
"Sure, but I don't have anything nice to wear.", Maena said in disappointment.
"You don't have to wear anything fancy. I'm not going to either.", Jihoon assured.
"Alright then. But girls there will still wear some dresses and stuff."
"I will too!", Bora replied eagerly.
"Exactly.", Maena said and rolled her eyes a little.
"We can go buy something after school.", Bora then suggested.
"Okay."

Maena was getting ready in her room for the dinner tonight. Earlier the day she went to a dress boutique with Bora and she bought a black skin-tight dress. It isn't really her style, but it looked good, so she decided to buy it anyway. She sprayed on some perfume and pulled on her leather jacket before walking downstairs.
