Maena liked yesterday so much. She was able to spend quality time with her long distance cousin and also her fiance. And like that she woke up on her right foot the next morning. It was Sunday, and her month summer break starts next week. But she still has few exams coming, so she has to study for those to not utterly let herself loose like that.
Yet she planned to visit her campus quickly, since she had forgotten few notes there that she will need for studying today. She walked downstairs after taking off her pajamas and wearing something more casual. The TV downstairs was blaring quite loudly so she knew that Sunghoon was there.
"Hey, I'll visit my uni quickly. I left some stuff there.", she informed Sunghoon while walking towards the hall.
"What? With what?", Sunghoon inquired.
"The bus. They do run on Sundays too."
"You don't have to. I'll take you.", he decided and quickly turned off the TV before standing up from the sofa and walking away from the living room.
"You're on a sick leave, hello?", Maena reminded.
"I'm doing well.", Sunghoon assured. "Wait a second.", he urged and was just about to head past her to his own room. He had still his night clothes one, a t-shirt and sweatpants. Maena saw how he pulled his shirt off right before he disappeared behind the corner before his room.
Maena sighed slightly and went to put on her shoes while waiting for him to dress up. It took less time than she thought. Soon he came back from his room, wearing some dark blue jeans and a black short-sleeved collar shirt. Because of the short-sleeved shirt, his bandage was completely visible over the burn wound.
He brushed his hair once with his fingers and took a pair of smoke grey Jordan's from the shoe rack. There were at least eight pairs of shoes and Maena has no idea where he needs so much shoes.
While waiting for him, Maena already grabbed his Mercedes Benz's keys from a key holder. At least he doesn't have more than one car. She looked at a keychain on his keys. It was a car shaped from a piece of clay and painted with black and dark green paint. A small text was engraved on the back of the car. from dad to son
A small smile crept on her face. She believes that Junho has given it years ago, but Sunghoon still uses it, which is adorable. She also knows how much Sunghoon means to Junho, his only son, probably more important than anything else in the world. At least it seems that way, and Maena is very jealous. In this case, Sunghoon and her are total opposites. He has a loving father and a mother who probably is not in his life at all and Maena doesn't want to ask much about it. And then she has a loving mother, and a father not so much.
"Are we going?", Sunghoon asked, apparently ready.
Maena raised her gaze from the keychain and gave it to him. "Yeah."

Sunghoon waited in the car at the campus parking lot while Maena quickly left to get her notes. It's Sunday so the building was almost empty, maybe she only saw a few other people. She walked down the side yard stairs outside after getting what she needed from the campus.
"Maena!", a masculine voice called that she recognized. She sighed in frustration but stopped at her tracks as Kangjoon was approaching her. He was clearly out for a morning jog and Maena happened to come out just as he was running past. He unplugged his earphones and walked in front of her. "What do you want?", she asked unpleasantly.
"Nothing. Can't I just say hi to you?", he inquired with a small frown.
"No."
"Well, whatever. Is that true by the way? That you're going to marry that rich snob?", he asked even a little bitterly.
