Maena walked downstairs in the morning. She got to sleep longer because today was Saturday and she didn't have to go to school. Leo had just texted her and she was currently reading the message while walking towards the kitchen.

We had to hang out together before your wedding :/ Can we hang out today?? pleasee, it's boring here

She chuckled a little as she read the message. They really haven't hung out a lot during these few years. Surely they saw the other day recently, but there were literally everyone. And she understands his boredness, to only be with his parents at the hotel. Surely, they probably had gone shopping some day to the Seoul center.

Okay, little one. I feel like I should be watching over Sunghoon today, come here if possible?

Oh yeah, him. Is he okay by the way? At least he got discharged from the hospital?

Yeah, he's fine. I still want to be here with him this day. I'll ask him if he's fine with you coming here. I'll text you when I know.

After their quick conversation she put her phone down and looked towards Sunghoon's room. It was already that late that Sunghoon would usually be awake even if he had been under the sleeping pills. But she didn't see him downstairs.

She started approaching his room and quietly opened the door. There he was, on his side, fast asleep. Maena smiled slightly and closed the door quietly again before heading back to the kitchen.

After a while, she was sitting by the kitchen counter, eating bread while scrolling through her phone. She saw with her side eye as Sunghoon drowsily walked from his room to the bathroom that was opposite it at the other end of the small corridor.

"Good morning.", she said nicely.

He hummed back the word 'morning', which she almost didn't even catch what he said. She kept scrolling her phone for a while. Soon, Sunghoon came out of the bathroom and came to the kitchen to her. His hair was messy which looked cute to her. And anyway, Maena likes it when he wears those comfortable clothes, a t-shirt and college pants.

"Your meds seem to be working. That's a good thing.", Maena said as he sat down opposite her by the counter. He just hummed as a response. "Speaking of which.", she reached for a small package from the end of the counter. "Remember to take these.", she said as she pulled his new antibiotics in front of them.

Sunghoon looked at them a little numbly, and perhaps forgot they existed for a moment. "I know. I know you don't like it, but it's for the healing.", Maena said feeling sympathetic, because she still remembers how he said that he doesn't feel comfortable using pills.

"Yes, I know.", he replied shortly and started opening the package. Maena already got up from her chair and grabbed a glass of water for him.

"Thanks.", he said before swallowing the pill down his throat with water. Maena sat back down on the chair and waited for a while before starting another conversation.

"Can Leo come over today? My cousin, the foreign-looking boy.", she asked and described him, not being sure if Sunghoon knows what she means immediately.

"Yes I remember him. He can come.", he answered without much hesitation. He just doesn't want Maena to think that he's the one who rules here, it's her home now too.

"Okay.", she replied with a smile.

Maena wore something comfortable for the day. Some black college pants and a red skin-tight t-shirt with lace on the collar that she hasen't used for a long time. She heard a car pull into the yard, and of course thought it was Leo. She had texted him the address earlier.
