Chapter 12: Fear and Loathing in Los Aerobes

Bokomon took the gang to get their futures told by Shamanmon, the fortune teller. But just as Shamanmon started the premonition tango, Grumblemon attacked and this time he brought a friend. With the strength of Golemon behind him, Grumblemon stole Tommy's spirit.

Then BurningGreymon joined the fight, but he didn't know the difference between good guys and bad guys. Goggle-head figured out that it was Shamanmon possessed by a beast spirit, but when he freed Shamanmon, the beast spirit possessed him instead. When he started attacking his friend, Koji had to digivolve to KendoGarurumon to stop him.

Man, do these guys have control issues or what?

BurningGreymon dived down and kicked Beetlemon into a pillar.

Kendogarurumon: Takuya, stop!

Aegiomon: Get a hold of yourself! The beast then used his tail to slap the two away.

Beetlemon: Put me down! BurningGreymon grabbed Beetlemon by his head and threw him into Aegiomon and KendoGarurumon. BurningGreymon tarted screaming in pain.

Kendogarurumon: There has to be a way to stop him.

Beetlemon: But how?

Chiaki: Takuya has to remember we're his friends. If he does, maybe he'll change back.

Zoe: Isn't there anything we can do?

Bokomon: Yes, get out of here before it's too late.

Kendogarurumon: Alright if it's a fight you want, fight me. BurningGreymon turned towards them.

Beetlemon: Don't look at me! He and Aegiomon quickly flew out of the way as KendoGarurumon took his fighting position.

Zoe: Is he really going to try to fight him? What if you hurt each other?

Teppei: In case you haven't noticed, he's trying to hurt us!

Kendogarurumon: Lupine Laser! He fired a blast from his mouth, but
BurningGreymon dodged and jumped on KendoGarurumon's head. He raised his claws ready to slash KendoGarurumon.

Aegiomon: Hey! Aegiomon jumped and kicked BurningGreymon to the ground.

Beetlemon: Quickly, before one of us gets hurt.  Beetlemon yelled as he, Aegiomon and KendoGarurumon ran into the forest.

BurningGreymon: Pyro Barrage! His attack hits the trees, setting them on fire.

Beetlemon/ We have to do something before he levels the whole forest, or the whole world.

Kendogarurumon: I'll stop him.
KendoGarurumon lowered his wheels and got ready for his attack. Howling Star!
He cut the trees down.

Beetlemon: We're supposed to stop him, not help wreck the place! Unfortunately the trees were totally burned, nothing to save.

Neemon: If we ever have to fight trees, he'll be deadly.

Bokomon: Then count your blessings were not trees. Let's go! As the others ran, Tommy watched the battle.

Tommy: 'Aww. If I could only spirit evolve to Kumamon. But I can't.'

Zoe: Tommy, this is no time for daydreaming. Come on.

Beetlemon: Aw man, if he keeps this up they're gonna have to rename it the 'burned to a crisp' kingdom.

Suddenly BurningGreymon appeared out of the smoke and attacked. KendoGarurumon got kicked in the face, Aegiomon got hit with the beasts' tail and Beetlemon got a knee in his stomach and landed on the ground. He raised his foot and placed it on top of Beetlemon.
