Basically the same as the Anime, but one major change is that Takuya, Zoe, Koji, JP, Tommy and Koichi aren't the only Digi-Destined. Join these ten humans and their protector Aegiomon on their quest to save the Digital World from Cherubimon
On their way to the Forest Terminal, the gang wound up in Wind Factory Incorporated. There they met the Kokuwamon, a group of machine Digimon who were being forced into slave labor by the Goblimon.
So Takuya came up with a plan to save the little guys. Once the fighting started, they all met the head hancho, Snimon. Poor JP, feeling bad about not having a Spirit felt totally useless. But when the Spirit of Thunder was uncovered, JP jumped at the chance to Spirit Evolve to Beetlemon. He used his Thunder Fist to squash Snimon like the big old bug that he was.
On a random mountain, Koji was traversing the dangerous terrain. Soon he heard the cries of digimon could be heard.
???: Help!
???: It's hopeless!
???: No one can hear us!
???: You're so negative! Koji climbs into a hole in the mountain.
Koji: Hello? He finds a cage filled with Karatsukinumemon.

Karatsukinumemon. A relatively weak Digimon. But in groups they can be quite fearsome. And you don't wanna get hit by their attacks.
Meanwhile, the gang were abruptly kicked out of a restaurant.
Kongoumon: What?! No money?! Get out of my restaurant! He shouted throwing them out. Please come back, when you're not just a bunch of deadbeats!
Zoe: But we're really hungry and we do have money. See? Right here. She says showing the money, but Kongoumon was not convinced.
Bokomon: You have money? Let me see it. Zoe hands him the money. You call this stuff? Frankly I would have I would have thrown you out of that restaurant too. He tosses it away. Zoe quickly picks it all up.
JP: So what's money like in the Digital World? You're so smart how do we get our hands on some?
Bokomon: It's simple; stop being so lazy and go to work.
POW!!!
Bokomon: GAH! Bokomon held his head in pain after Aegiomon furiously punched it.
Aegiomon: Oh, you got some nerve saying that! During this whole trip you and Neemon have been nothing but lazy!
Bokomon: Lazy?! I've been providing valuable information and insight.
Aegiomon: So have I! And the best part is I don't give people headaches when I open my big fat mouth!
Bokomon: Oh, how dare you!
Tommy: Can't you just lend us some?
Takuya & JP: Yeah! Hand it over! They all waited hopefully. Bokomon pulls out his wallet. Ah-ha!
Zoe: Big bucks! Unfortunately, Bokomon was no more worse for wear when it comes to money.
Bokomon: As you can see, I'm without funds myself. They all drop their heads.
