Chapter 10: Can't Keep a Grumblemon Down

The gang finally got back together on the edge of the Forest Kingdom. Starving and tired, they decided to make camp and chow down on some meat apples. Then they discovered the forest was filled with of these freaky tv trees that showed them video from the real world. While they were sleeping, Tapirmon planted some bad dreams into Tommy.

Convinced everyone was against him, he spirit evolved to Kumamon and took on his friends. Koji, Takuya and Aegiomon finally figured out Tapirmon and Vilemon causing all the trouble so then along with Teppei spirit evolved and ended the digital nightmare. Then Koji got this weird email on his D-Tector. What's that about?

Chiaki: Oh no! Kiki's missing! Chiaki and the others freak out once they wake up.

Takuya: What if something bad happened to him?

Tommy: Oh no, wait, what if something bad happens to us?

JP: Don't say that you're scaring me, eh, scaring Zoe.

Zoe: What's that? They look and see the sun.

Takuya: It's called the sun Zoe good eye. Look. I guess Neemon and Bokomon are gone too.

Teruo: Aegiomon's gone too. Tommy then sees a note left behind.

Tommy: Hey, it's a note. From Koji. They all look at the note.

"I'm going on alone so I can actually get something done." The note read.

Takuya: Even in a note he sounds like a jerk.

"We're also going. Let me draw it! Gimme the crayon." Was what Bokomon and Neemon wrote.

JP: Man, that Koji sure can be selfish

Zoe: I guess he likes to be on his own. And given this group, sometimes I understand.

"No! I'm not doing using—" JP takes the note and rips it up.

JP: He wants to be on his own? Fine!

Takuya: At least Koji can take care of himself. But what about Bokomon and Neemon? You think Koji will bother to worrying about protecting them? Doubt it. We're gonna have to find them.

Chiaki: I wouldn't worry. Aegiomon's with them, so I know he'll keep them safe.

Zoe: Hmph. I'd rather be protected by a wolf than him. Mr. My-Mission-us-more-important.

Chiaki: Come on. Aegiomon's not so bad. In fact, I think he's really sweet.

JP: Sweet?

Takuya: We're talking about Aegiomon, right?

Chiaki: Stop it. He may act like a jerk, but I can tell he wants to keep us safe.

JP: Sure has a funny way of showing it.

Chiaki: Well think about it, if he didn't care about us, we wouldn't be with us. What's more, when we were all sleeping last night, Aegiomon stayed up to make sure no other Digimon attacked us.

Tommy: He did?

Teruo: I didn't even notice.

Meanwhile, a strange Digimon was near some ancient ruins.

???: Where is that stupid inscription. He continued looking and found it. "When the third eyes opens, the spirit will awaken." Oh. I just have to find the third jewel. Boy, you'd think if they left an inscription they can leave a stupid map.

Elsewhere, Aegiomon was following Koji which was clearly annoying him.

Koji: Could you not follow so close behind?
