Inside the Tardis, the Doctor and Captain walk towards the console, ready to power it up, while they wait for Rose to say goodbye to her mum and Mickey.

Outside, Rose stands in a thick coat that is protecting her from the cool autumn air. She carries a big rucksack as she fixes her woollen hat.

Jackie looks over at her daughter, worry written across her face. "Have you got everything?"

"I've got everything. Don't worry." Rose smiles, trying her best to reassure her mum.

"Be careful."

Rose pulls Jackie into a quick hug. "You'll have to call Mo about that..."

"Oh, never mind Mo."

Okay, I'm going now. I love you!

"I love you."

"Love you, love you," Rose walks over to Mickey and kisses him.

"Love you," Mickey tells her.

"Bye," Rose says before rushing into the blue box, Jackie turns her back and walks away as the Tardis dematerialises while Mickey watches on, sadly.

Inside Rose takes her bag off as she stares at the Doctor who grins widely making Rose return a smile. After walking over to the two men, Rose helps fly the Tardis.

"So where are we going?"

"Further than we've ever gone before."

The Tardis materialises on a grass bank on the other side of a river from a big city, while flying cars zoom past over head. Rose, the Doctor and the Captain step out, looking at the city across from them.

"It's the year five million and twenty-three," the Captain says as he closes the door behind him.

"We're in the Galaxy M87 and this is... this is New Earth," the Doctor adds while the three stand staring at the massive city.

"It's just... That's just..." Rose laughs.

"Not bad. Not bad at all," the Doctor nods.

"That's amazing. I'll never get used to this, never. Different ground beneath my feet," she says jumping up and down, "different sky. What's that smell?"

The Captain leans down and pulls some grass. "Apple grass."

"Apple grass," Rose repeats.

"Yeah, yeah," he nods.

"It's beautiful. Oh, I love this. Can I just say, travelling with you, I love it," Rose says, her gaze lingering on the Doctor before darting to the Captain as she links the Doctor's arm.

"Me too! Come on," he replies taking her hand before pulling her along as he starts running, the Captain smiles before running after the two.

A humanoid with interesting sepia markings is watching the Captain, the Doctor and Rose on an electronic crystal ball. "Human! She's pure-blood human. Closer, closer." A metal spider scuttles closer, obeying the humanoid's commands.
