Waking up the next morning, I couldn't force myself up even if I wanted to. I didn't know why Patrick snapped at me like that, and it just made me angry. I don't like people yelling at me. I checked my phone.

12 missed calls from "Patrick <3"
13 missed texts from "Patrick <3"

I sighed and opened Patrick's texts.

        Patrick <3

Patrick: fuck, I just woke up and everything that happened yesterday just hit me
Patrick: I'm so so so so so so sorry
Patrick: I'm sorry, okay
Patrick: Answer me
Patrick: Dude!! FUCK!
Patrick: I said I'm sorry! I mean it!
Patrick: Siren! Fucking answer me, we need to talk!
Patrick: Please Siren, I feel so bad and I don't know what to do
Patrick: please I need you, these panic attacks are bad
Patrick: Siren....
Patrick: please...
Patrick: answer me

I got up, throwing on a crop top and some grey sweatpants. I needed to go for a walk. Walking out of the flat, I heard Harley barking for me to come back, but I kept moving. Walking past BrewDog and through the train station, I'm stopped by a big man in an all white suit.

"Your mother has passed," the man grumbled, sticking his hand out to stop me from passing, "and you must repay her debt"

By heart sunk faster than I had ever thought it could, and I looked at the man, "what debt?"

The man scowled at me, grabbing my arm and dragging me along the train station, "your mother was engaged to Zeus, but left him for Hades. Now you must marry Zeus"

He threw me on the underground train, not saying a word after that. The train is empty? The train started moving and I banged on the window, but there was no one outside the window. Where's all the people who were at the train station? I sat down, placing my elbows on my thighs, looking down at the floor. This cannot be happening. I don't even believe in the Greek gods! Am I going to die without telling Patrick how I feel or even just making up with him? I pulled out my phone. No service. The man grumbled and snatched my phone out of my hands, stuffing it in his pocket. Oh fuck. What am I going to do now? I could turn into a lion or something but this is some weird ass magic, and I wanna see what happens. The train came to a halt and the man grabbed my arm again, gruffly pulling me outside of it. The snow covered clouds we stepped on surprised me, causing me to look up. My mouth fell open when I looked at the glory of the Mount Olympus I had heard of. Have I been drugged? Did I die? I was led to the biggest building there was, made with beautiful white stone. Entering a room in the building of white, a man sat on a throne of clouds. His short white hair and beard were clean kept and when he saw me, his eyes lit up in a way that made me sick to my stomach. Multiple females sat by him, touching his arms. I assumed the females to be his wives. The man who had kidnapped me forced me on my knees in front of the throne.

"Now Kratus, there's no need to be rude to our guest." The white haired man said

"I apologize, my king" the man behind me said, bowing.

"Where the fuck am I?" I growled, trying to stand up but being forced down again by Kratus.

"I apologize, Siren," the king said, "My name is Zeus and you're on Mount Olympus"

I hissed, "you're lying"

The women around the room gasped. Was it some sort of treason to accuse him of lying? The king's expression did not change.

"I am not lying. Your mother was Persephone, and your father is my brother, Hades."

My parent's names were so close to the two names he just listed. My mom growing flowers in the blink of an eye, my dad making people angry even though he didn't say anything. What is going on?

"What happened to my mother?" I asked, holding back tears.

"I killed her," the king shrugged, "she was promised to me but left me for Hades." He smiled wickedly, "now her daughter is mine"

"I will never be yours," I spat, "I love another, just as my mother did."

He sighed rolling his eyes, "there's only one way out of the marriage but there's absolutely no way you'll go through with it"

"I will." I whispered, venom dripping from my words, "explain it to me"

"You must win a series of battles. First, win against a man, second, win against a lion, and third, win against a tiger."

"I accept." I crossed my arms, staring him dead in the eyes

"You have three weeks to prepare, good luck!" He smirked, as if thinking I wasn't going to win, "until then, you'll stay in the cells."

I was about to object, but Kratus picked me up and started dragging me out of the room. I glared at Zeus as I left the room.
