I actually did wait until 12:30. It didn't take long at all, I just kinda watched him work and I played on my phone. When he walked out, I saw he was wearing a green flannel with a black long sleeve shirt under it. We were literally matching on 100% accident. I smiled at him, waiting for him to come over to me."So where are we going?" I asked, linking my arm through his. I watched his eyes widen at the contact, but he just smiled and looked at me.
"It's a surprise" he chuckled, turning to face the road, "food is close"
We walked for a while in comfortable silence before we arrived in front of a cute little restaurant. The sign read "Cocotte". I smiled at him, and we walked into the restaurant. We talked, and I found out about his life, and what he liked. When we finished eating, I insisted that I pay, and then after some protesting from Patrick, I paid and we left. He smiled and started walking the opposite direction of BrewDog.
"Wait, where are we going?" I questioned, linking arms again.
"Let's see, the Moniker Art Fair, Hyde Park, and Star Gazing" he smiled
It's feeling more and more like a date. I shook the thought away. He's just grateful for the help with his emotions. Walking over to the Moniker Art Fair, we talked and I noted the little things about him. Like, he kicked a rock ever so often when we walked, and when we talked about anything music related his face would light up and he seemed to get a little pep in his step. Running around the museum, we got yelled at twice. We had ran away giggling because there was a piece of art of a balloon dog who was taking a big shit covered in an American flag pattern. Walking around Hyde park, we laugh and talk about life before we met. Afterwards, he took me to a large green hill, away from the lights of the city. We sat on the hill, talking about what his mom was like. He had brought her up a while ago. When we finished, we just sat in comfortable silence, with me tracing the constellations with my finger. I could hear him fidgeting and heavily sighing next to me. I turned to him.
"What's wrong?" I asked, smiling softly, "we've had a good day, haven't we?"
"I don't know, talking about my mom was harsh" he replied, fidgeting even more.
I set my hand on his shoulder, "Remember, everything will be okay. If you feel like you're getting anxiety from this, remember the breathing exercises we've researched," I squeezed his shoulder reassuringly, "I'm sorry you're going through this."
He shoved my hand off, moving sideways, "I don't need your pity, Siren" he hissed, "you've been nothing but a burden in my heart."
I started to stand up, narrowing my eyes, "I know you're fucking joking right? After all I've done for you?"
He doesn't answer, and continues fiddling with the grass around us.
"dick move" I whispered, on the brink of tears. I walked down the hill. There would be a train station nearby. Hopping on the train, I rubbed my forehead, pushing back the tears that were threatening to spill. This is why father says to never get connected to someone. Climbing into my bed at home, Harley curled up by me and I curled myself into a ball, crying. All I can think is; be tougher. Why the fuck are you crying. But my last thought before I fell asleep was; Now what do I do with all these feelings...
