Chapter 2: Sonia and Manic

Me, Amy, Knuckles and Tails were hanging out again. Knuckles was gliding, Tails was flying, I was running and Amy was walking. Until Tails spotted something on the ocean. "Hey guys! There is a boat heading for the ocean, and, uh... it has a family of humans inside." He warned.

"I'll go check it out. It's probably Chris coming to visit." I replied as Chris was the only human we ever met besides Eggman. But I didn't consider the third possibility as I ran ahead much to Amy and Tails's dismay and Knuckles's frustration.

I skidded to a stop once I reached the ocean to greet the new people. It wasn't Chris and his family though. "Yo, new here?" I asked. "Uh, yes! We're sorry to trespass, but we heard this was the nicest spot for a vacation." said the boy.

"Well, you're in luck! Green Hills is the best spot to— what are you looking at?" I paused once I noticed the girl was looking at me kinda funny. She whispered something in the boy's ear and he looked at me with the same expression.

"Anthropomorphic hedgehog... blue... one eye... green colored eyes... NAMELESS?!?" He asked. I froze as realization dawned upon me. "Nameless?! Manic, Nameless is dead." said the woman. "No, Mother! This hedgehog is Nameless!"

The woman and man came to the same realization as they looked at me in shock. Amy, Knuckles, and Tails just arrived and stood behind me and they watched as Sonia ran up to hug me. "Oh, little brother! We thought you were dead! Listen, we're so sorry-"

"Get. Away. From Me!!" I pushed her away. "Whoa, Sonic! Whoa! Calm down! Usually I'm the one to talk about aggression, and you're the one holding me back!" said Knuckles, attempting to calm me down. All of them were surprised by my outburst.

"Nameless, what happened to you?!" asked Sonia horrified. "Nameless? Who's Nameless?" asked Tails in confusion. "Me. I'm Nameless." I answered. "But your name is Sonic—" started Amy. "Yes, but my original name is Nameless!" I corrected.

"Sonic? What are you, a double agent now?" asked Sonia. "I'm not Nameless anymore, in case you haven't heard. I'm Sonic— Sonic The Hedgehog. The Blue Blur, the Fastest Thing Alive... what ever! I'm NOT Nameless anymore." I growled.

I clenched my fists and Knuckles, Tails, and Amy got really worried. "Sonic! You just met them! Shouldn't you give them a chance?" asked Amy. "THEY didn't give ME a chance," I snapped, turning around to face them then back at my old family.

"YOU shouldn't have come here," I said, pointing at them. "Nameless, we had no idea you were here." started Sonia. "We came on vacation. We'll only be here a year, we promise." promised Manic. I scoffed.

"We're way past promises, Manic. Do me a favor and stay away from me! I don't want you- ANY OF YOU- near me. Better idea, stay away from all of my friends. They don't deserve to deal with you and your abusive nature!!" I warned.

"But—"

"PERIOD."

I walked off, very angry and in a VERY bad mood. "Sonic," started Tails, reaching his hand out to me slightly, but didn't. I could tell they were worried, but I didn't pay attention. I was too angry to notice. I rushed off into the forest, far away from my old family and my new one.
