Y/N sat on the edge of his bed, looking at the Hogwarts Letter in his hands, pondering if he made the right decision or not. A few days had passed now since Hagrid came to visit, and he told them he'd be back by today to help him get everything he needed for the school year.

He sighed, glancing at his luggage that rested beside him on the bed, packed to the brim with clothes. Apparently, he and Hagrid would be staying over someplace for the last week. Wherever they were going, he had no doubt it was going to be far.

A light knocking over at his door shifted his attention, seeing his mother standing in the door way. "Hagrid's here." She told him, holding a small bag in her hands. "Are you all packed?"

"Yep." Y/N quickly tucked the letter into his pocket and grabbed the handle of his luggage, sliding off of the bed.

He walked over to the door, made his way downstairs, loosely followed by his mother and over to the front door.

"Y/N," His mother called out to him just as he was reaching for the doorknob, "Are you sure you want to do this? I wouldn't want you to be doing this because I forced you to... you can still say no."

"I'm sure, mum." He gave her a reassuring smile. "Plus, maybe I'll be able to learn how to fly a broom by the time I get back home."

His mother chuckled lightly, handing him the small bag she was holding. "Now, you hold onto this, mister. Or else you'll be broke in the Wizarding World."

"What is this?" Y/N questioned, unzipping the bag, revealing that it was filled halfway with pounds. His eyes widened, looking worriedly at his mother. "Mum? What am I gonna do with this? I don't think they'd accept pounds as currency."

"Well, luckily enough, they exchange pounds there for whatever currency they use in the Wizarding World. I think it was... Galteons or something or other." His mother murmured before turning Y/N around to face the door. "Now, go on, open the door. Don't want to keep Hagrid waiting. He might squish you if you do."

With a small laugh, he swung the door open, being met with a familiar towering figure waiting for him at the sidewalk. The same thick beard, fat hands and massive feet, and towering figure that he met in their house a few days ago.

"Ready?" Hagrid asked, looking down at Y/N.

Y/N nodded, craning his neck up to look at Hagrid as he walked over to him. "So... where exactly are we going?"

"Leaky Cauldron, 'course." Hagrid said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"And where exactly is the Leaky Cauldron?" Y/N asked curiously.

"London." Hagrid stated, making Y/N go wide-eyed.

"London?" He exclaimed. "That's a 3 hour drive away! And what are we even gonna use to get there? I can hardly imagine you'd be able to fit on a bus or the tube."

Hagrid grinned under his thick beard, stepping to the side, revealing a motorbike parked in the street. It had a sidecar attacked to it that looked like it could hold one person.

"In this!" Hagrid said excitedly, gesturing at the bike, gauging Y/N's expression.

"Please tell me you're joking." Y/N told him, a distraught expression in his face.

Hagrid let out a hearty laugh, "Oh, don' ya worry! She's a lo' more than wha' she seems!" He clambered onto the motorcycle. "Come on, get on. You said yerself tha' it's a long drive."

Y/N sighed, looking back at his mother with an expression that said 'is it too late to say no?' His mom rolled his eyes at him, walking over and pulling him into a hug. "You be good to Hagrid now, you hear?"
