Long story short

We had changed clothes and put on heavy make-up.
I wore very dark eye shadow with small black glitter in it, a transparent black top with a black bra underneath and camo pants.

Unlike me, Mia wore white eye shadow and lined her lower eyelids with blue eyeliner. She also wore a cute white short dress with gold heels underneath.

Before we left I looked in the mirror and I thought my green eyes stood out extra beautifully because of the make up I was wearing.
I tied my brown hair in a ponytail before the wind had the chance to ruin my hair on the bike.

"Mara are you ready?"

"Yes I'm coming"

I closed the door behind me and grabbed my bike key from my handbag.

"How long does it actually take to cycle, Mia?" I said.

"Hmm, I'll have a look on Google maps, it probably won't be long from here to the city"

Mia picked up her phone and typed in the address, then sighed and said:
"Hmm, it's a 35 minute bike ride, but I have a good idea!"

I immediately knew what she meant and we both shouted in a loud unison with our arms raised.

"PILL TIME!!"
"Hahahaha."

We unlocked our bikes and in the meantime Mia took the bag of pink Ecstasy pills out of her bag. Six in total, three for me and three for her.

She took out two pills and wanted to break them, I let out a startled cry from my throat and she looked at me in surprise.

"Mia, you're not going to give me half a pill, I want a whole one!"
"Mara, that's a lot.." And she still looked at me in surprise.

I grabbed the water bottle from my bag and grabbed the pill from her hand, I immediately put the pill in my mouth and without hesitation I swallowed it with the water from the bottle. The bitter aftertaste comes later and the adrenaline kicks in immediately.

Mia neatly breaks hers in half and gestures with her hand for me to give her my water bottle.

"Please" I say with a smile on my face.

"Thank you, but I'm still angry with you, don't think I'll forget this." She swallows half and then she laughs.

I grab my bike and we cycle up the dike, it is eight o'clock and the concert starts at nine o'clock.
We gossip along the way and laugh a lot, together in our world waiting for what is to come.

We arrive at the concert building in Enschede around a quarter to nine.
It is very busy at the entrance, Mia and I walk hand in hand to the queues there.

We stand at the back of the line and the guys in front of us push other guys into line.
We then arrive at security after the line has moved on a bit.

"Open the bag" I hear the security guard say to Mia and me.
I look at Mia and suddenly realize that the pills are in her bag.
I keep looking at her while the security guard keeps looking through our bag.

"This is not allowed," he says and takes the water bottle from my bag.

"Oh, okay, that's fine, just throw it away then," I say.
"You can walk through, the hall will open soon"

Mia and I continue walking and Mia asks:
"What's wrong, why do you keep looking at me so surprised?"

"Where did you put the M??"
"In my bra crazy, do you really think I'm stupid enough to put that in my bag??"

"Fortunately, I was so scared... Shall we go to the toilet before we go in?"

"Yes, come on, it's just around the corner"

"How do you know that?" I ask with a smile from ear to ear.

"I've been here before, honey, even in the past with school for school parties."
I push open the door to get into the toilet room.
It smells really bad and no one else is inside.

"Hmm, I think I'll take my other half too, I don't feel anything yet" Mia pulls the bag out of her bra.

"Huh, I don't feel anything yet, how many grams is it?" And we both look at the bag with pills in it

"That dealer said to me, 330 mg, but now I don't believe it"

"Put a pill on your tongue and taste if it's is very bitter. Usually it's good shit then." I take a pill from the bag and give it to Mia.

"Eww, no, do it yourself otherwise I'll really puke when I taste that flavor."

"Okay, but don't look at me like a lunatic when I swallow it." I put the pill on my tongue and take my phone out of my pocket, with my tongue out of my mouth I take a picture of Mia and myself.

"Wow, yes, it is really bitter." I make a cup with my hand and put it under the tap so that I can collect water.

I swallow the ecstasy pill in one gulp, Mia laughs and also takes half her with the same method I used.

"Let's go!" I wink at Mia and hold the door open for her.

"Haha let's go"
